I have one of the Clerks 2 Mooby's employee pins. I got it at the film fest when I saw the film. heh. I actually wanted to buy the Mooby's shirt at the Secret Stash. Alas, I am a chubby girl. We tend to avoid things that say "moo" or have cows on them. I wouldn't even Moo with Idina. Sad.

I couldn't get through Clerks 1, so I can imagine how Siegel must have felt. I'm just glad I don't have to go see it.

I love (the original) Clerks, too! I wonder if any of the minor characters are going to be follow up on in the sequel. Will Veronica be in it, too? Will there be the obligatory mention of Alyssa Jones?

The second film is very unlike the first.

They got Joel on the phone with Kevin this morning. It was really damn funny. He had no idea who he was talking to.

i'm just so mad that rosario dawson is in this movie. i don't know if i can see it now. it's almost as bad as colin farrell being in a woody freakin' allen movie for god's sake.

why couldn't rosario work with woody and have colin work with kevin?!?

The only returning characters are Dante, Randall, Jay and Bob. There are familiar faces playing different characters. There are two returning characters from Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. Veronica is not in the film, but, Marilyn Ghigliotti sat in the row next to me during the screening. Veronica is mentioned, but I don't remember if Alyssa is. The new characters are hysterical.

I LOVED this movie. I don't think I've laughed this hard at a film since the first time I saw Napoleon Dynamite. That may or not be an appealing thing to you, but good God was that a funny movie. It's pretty easy to see WHY Siegel might have been disgusted at a part - but for my money that was one of the funniest, most creative scenes in the entire film. Any movie that can dedicate nearly a third of its running time to discussions on Transformers, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars is all right in my book.
