John McCain's campaign accepted a $2,300.00 contribution from the founders/owners of Manhunt.com.

Voting Republican is the ultimate kink.
Wouldn't 'McCain Takes It From The Gays' be a better title for this thread?
So, to turn it around, those paying for Manhunt memberships are now helping fund the McCain campaign?

Brian, when you're right, you're right.
Also, considering how much money that website takes in, over 2 million per month, you'd think these guys could afford to contribute just a bit more, wouldn't you?
So they're cheapskates as well as being pathetic logcabincases.
One way or the other, I'm getting screwed.
$2300's the limit an individual can donate directly to a candidate. i really have to reconsider the political discussions in here knowing that people don't even know that.

Papa most of them learned all they know about politics from 1776.

Ah, thanks Papa, I had forgotten that. Of course, no one has ever contributed more than the allowed amount ever, and certainly not to that shining paragon of decency and upholder of all that is right and proper John McCain. Nope, not never not no way not no how.
Thewre's an article in the current Out Magazine of the founders of manhunt.net
Jonathan Crutchley, the one on the right, is a self-described "liberal Republican."

Gotta love those "liberal Republicans." Like "jumbo shrimp" or "honest member of the Bush Administration."

They're Republicans, you can't expect them to have any taste, can you?
When it comes to decorating, apparently Republican trumps gay.

Well, let's not mock the afflicted. Poor dears.
Seriously, their office looks like that of a West Texas county commissioner.
Well, except for the photos on the wall. The West Texas county commissioner would keep those in a desk drawer.

You talked me into it. That desk, I mean really.
I bet they only bottom for each other.
Don't you feel better now, Roscoe?

I do. Thanks, Reg, you're a treasure.
Too bad you can't see the carpet in the picture, to see if it matches the curtains.

I'm sure the floor is a healthy checkerboard linoleum, carefully maintained by Luisito, their frequently shirtless houseboy.
Everybody should have an old 1989 Country Curtains catalogue in their desk. (CC, bless 'em, still send out old stuff that's not in more current catalogs, by the way. If you have something you love, and don't see it, ask; might still be in stock! As this proves...)

What is a liberal Republican? Seriously.
