I like the voting machines better Went about 4 o clock. 2 of the 3 scanners were out. Even so, we were out in about 1/2 hour

I miss the real booths, too. Levers, curtains, privacy. When I lived in California, you voted in people's garages. Now, THAT asks for fraud. Hated it.

When I was a little kid, my dad would always take me into the booth with him and I thought it was so cool watching him vote behind that closed curtain. I really hate that they're not around anymore.

This was the first time I didn't vote in a garage. How does that lead to fraud? Same booths and same officials are present at each voting site.

I have a ton of people wearing the red stickers. My boyfriend's office was closed until 12 so everyone could vote.

I voted this morning on Long Island, and I was in and out in ten minutes. Some Romney-nut went on a rant about why and how he was voting to the old man working the table, and finally the poor guy said, "Sir, I really don't care. Here's your ballot." Found that amusing.

Voted this evening in NJ. There was about a one minute wait and no trouble at all. (Funny how that happens in a mostly white middle-class suburb.)

I think the NJ email voting thing was well-meant, but we just didn't have the capacity to make it work on such a large scale, especially because it was all implemented so quickly. How much do you want to bet that local elections end in litigation because of this? What a mess. And yet another argument for why we should have 10 mandatory days of early voting before Election Day in every state.
