"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables

On Sunday she debuts at #1 on the NY Times bestseller list. Now she'll go back to D-list obscurity.
Except she's "#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Kathy Griffin" now...and forever.

p.s. no one's interested in her- they want to read the dirt she dishes. Like buying a large tome of Page Six.

I don't watch tv and I'm sick about reading about her. She's a nasty, shrewish woman and her 15 minutes of fame are well past expiration time.

Haha, major book - something like The Sorrow and the Pity maybe?

And while you're at it, be sure to include graphic photos of your black and blue body after your liposuction.
this is MAJOR!

When a book sells enough copies, it gets on the Times best seller list. It does NOT mean it's any good.
I'm sure if you like the dirt she wrote and want to see liposuction bruises, you'll buy the book.

Lisa Lampanelli's book so far is a total suprise. A real 360 from her public persona.

Not to mention Chelsea is a good writer who doesn't resort to shock value, gossip, & name dropping.

Yes, Lisa has a memoir call "Chocolate Please: My Life with Food, Fat, and Freaks". I have the audiobook and it is unabridged. I am enjoying it, but Lisa is subdued so far and I like the contrast.

It's called "having a platform."

I understand the need to do the press circuit.
I may not be able to articulate why I'm bashing her but I'll try - to me, she was always unique because of her honesty and the speaking of her mind no matter how un PC it was. She made fun of almost the entire show biz population because they were A or B list but she was "D."
Now she seems to me to be acting like all those others. When she saw a chance to make money, she sold out her persona.
I don't even know if I made this clear, so never mind, it isn't that important!

What she once made fun of she has become.
