Kelly endorses a Man Who Thinks It is OK to Kill Gay People

I thought it was the same as "Zoinks!", but I defer to Namo who is far better versed in slang than me. I mean, I still say, "Yoinks and away!" every time I'm about to swing from a vine and you can guess how that turns out.

Ron Paul will eventually drop out. How soon before Kelly endorses Rick Santorum and pleads ignorance of his anti gay views?

Kelly endorses a Man Who Thinks It is OK to Kill Gay People

No idea why you keep saying that. As I said before, in her entire 10 YEAR CAREER SPAN the woman has made 2 comments regarding politics. It's not her job to make an endorsement and she's not obligated to, even though for some reason you desperately want her to keep talking about this, even though she's long moved on and the general public has already forgotten.

Kelly endorses a Man Who Thinks It is OK to Kill Gay People

I say it because if she supports one candidate who hates gay people who is to say she won't support another? Can't you see why her fans are so upset with her? Doesn't matter if she has made only 2 comments in the past 10 years.THE FACT IS she supports a racist and homophobe. Deal with it. She endorses and says she would vote for him,so she HAS TO AGREE with him,why else would she vote and support him?

It may not be her job to endorse a political candidate but she has and she is doing very well for herself as far as record sales,so she has to be able to take the heat when her fans accuse of things Ron Paul agrees with.

Your blind loyalty is great and I am sure she and Ron Paul supporters appreciate your support. I am simply asking a question. When Ron Paul drops out, will she make a third comment regarding politics and support yet another anti gay candidate? Fair question to ask.Oh, and I plan on reminding as many people as I can about her endorsement.Kelly supports an anti gay and racist candidate and like it or not, that is a fact. Sorry you don't like me bringing it up but there it is.

Before today, I last posted about this subject on December 31st. There are others who have commented and bumped this thread yet you single me out instead of them. Why is that? Is it because I am more vocal about it? Why not ask Taz or Mister Matt or Phyllis why they are commenting on this? You don't mind people criticizing Ron Paul but when they criticize Kelly(and with damn good reason!) you turn on the person who does so,which is why you did not mind the others who commented, only me.

You just keep typing up the same response over and over and over again. You're not saying anything different.

Frankly, there was no negative reaction to her comment. People have either forgotten or moved on. Yet you just can't for whatever reason. You don't agree with her, and YOU feel that she NEEDS to release an apology to make YOU feel better.

And you are not? You keep defending her and I keep reminding people what you want them to forget. Maybe you shouldn't keep bumping the thread.

I DID move on. My Last post was the 31st of December. Others replied yet you had no problem with them. You ONLY responded when I asked a fair honest question. Can you tell me WHY you respond ONLY to my posts RE:this subject? You keep telling me to move on yet YOU ARE THE ONE bumping the thread. All I asked was a legitimate question, which anti gay candidate will she endorse when Ron Paul drops out?

Why would I want her to apologize? She agrees with EVERYTHING Ron Paul says. Oh, and there was a negative reaction (did you read some of the tweets from her former fans?) Still waiting to hear why you are getting defensive with my posts only.

LOL! I am curious for JP to answer my question.I asked an honest question. My last post on this was New Years Eve. Others commented. I simply asked who she would endorse when Ron Paul drops out.JP got defensive because he does not like to be reminded that she endorse a racist and homophobe.

I think it's misguided to think just because she supports Ron Paul she's agrees with his homophobic or racist remarks.
Lots of progressive liberals are supporting Paul because he is the only candidate, democratic or republican, "that is anti-war, pro-due-process, pro-transparency, anti-Fed, anti-Wall-Street-bailout, and anti-Drug War" (from the Salon article). I know some of my friends are voting for him because they feel these issues trump the others.
I can't really say I could bring myself to vote for Ron Paul at this point. I DO think he's mostly crazy. But if the Iran war rhetoric keeps heating up who knows?
I feel like if the choice is between Obama and Romney there really isn't that much of a difference.

I sort of agree with you.She has not made that clear. She did however apologize, which is confusing. If she came out and said she did not agree with him on an issue or maybe two I could cut her some slack. Instead, she claimed she was unaware of his newsletter and some of the things he said. She came out, endorsed, apologized, enjoyed the success of her endorsement, and now we find out she really didn't sell the records that some out there claimed. After thinking this over some, I don't think all the blame should fall on Kelly like I thought before. Yes, she as far we know endorses this man and his politics and IMO, that makes her look bad. However, I think her publicist should have handled this better. Part of the problem was communication. Why does she endorse this guy? Does she have a "Anyone but Obama' attitude? She needed to be clear and explain some of this when she endorsed him. I like many others are left to assume the worst and a publicist should have thought about her image and how this would play out.

I'd like to hear her be more specific on this. If she disagree's with one issue I'd like to know more.

Kelly Is Mis-Informed, so are a lot of people...

Why are you so fricking worried about what she thinks?!

You have said you aren't really a fan of hers, so why do you keep going on about this?

It's like you want her to give you some sort of public apology. or something along those lines.

Take a deep breath and move on...

TheatreDiva90016,why are you so concerned with me? EVERYTHING you have said about me has been wrong.I am curious what she thinks.I wonder how much does she agree with Ron Paul.Besides stirring the pot, what are you bringing to this discussion? I just said that part of the blame falls on Kelly's publicist.I did not even think about this 6 days ago.She already apologized(which I don't understand)
Why don't you take a deep breath and move on.I asked a legitimate question. Will she endorse someone else when Ron Paul drops out? Now,thanks to ErikJ972,I'm asking myself how much does she agree with Ron Paul? Erik brought up a valid point and got me thinking, which is what debates are about. All you are doing is being bitchy towards me for God knows what reason.Let go,stop being so angry, and move on.

Dude,

You are the one going on and on and I just can't figure out why your panties are in such a twist if, as you say, you don't care.

But you did care enough to change the thread title from something simple to the most hateful thing you could possibly say. DId you really think she would have supported him if he said he wants gays killed?

I hate to tell you, but you will not be getting a personl apology from her.

And I'm far from angry. I'm just wondering why you aren't.

Kelly Is Mis-Informed, so are a lot of people...

Ron Paul has an advantage over most of his fellow Republicans in having an actual worldview, instead of merely a set of interests — he opposes almost every power the federal government has and almost everything it does. Given Washington's enormous reach, it stands to reason that progressives would find targets to like in Paul's wholesale assault. I, too, would love to see the end of the "war on drugs" and our other wars. I, too, am shocked by the curtailment of civil liberties in pursuit of the "war on terror," most recently the provision in the NDAA permitting the indefinite detention, without charge, of U.S. citizens suspected of involvement in terrorism. But these are a handful of cherries on a blighted tree. In a Ron Paul America, there would be no environmental protection, no Social Security, no Medicaid or Medicare, no help for the poor, no public education, no civil rights laws, no anti-discrimination law, no Americans With Disabilities Act, no laws ensuring the safety of food or drugs or consumer products, no workers' rights. How far does Paul take his war against Washington? He wants to abolish the Federal Aviation Authority and its pesky air traffic controllers. He has one magic answer to every problem — including how to land an airplane safely: let the market handle it.

It's a little strange to see people who inveigh against Obama's healthcare compromises wave away, as a detail, Paul's opposition to any government involvement in healthcare. In Ron Paul's America, if you weren't prudent enough or wealthy enough to buy private insurance — and the exact policy that covers what's ailing you now — you find a charity or die. And if civil liberties are so important, how can Paul's progressive fans overlook his opposition to abortion and his signing of the personhood pledge, which could ban many birth control methods?

I'm the one going on and on? LOL! You are the one following me sweety. If YOU DON'T CARE, why are you posting so much? What did I change? Other than some typos and editing my post I did not change anything back.Ron Paul is proud of the endorsement of a reverend who has said that very thing. This reverend wants to kill gay people.

http://dot429.com/articles/2011/12/29/pastor-who-wants-to-kill-gays-endorses-paul

This reverend and Kelly both support Ron Paul and Ron Paul is proud of both their endorsements. What do I need to correct? Please, tell me.

I don't want a personal apology from her. Why do you say that? She did apologize after people went after her on Twitter. Still not clear why she felt she needed to apologize if she believes in him so much.

So, you aren't angry. Great. Neither am I.I really am flattered by all this attention TheatreDiva90016.

“What did I change?”

“Kelly Clarkson endorses Ron Paul “
into
‘Kelly endorses a Man Who Thinks It is OK to Kill Gay People’

Why don’t you just call her a fag killer?

It’s obvious she had no clue about what she was talking about, so why are you holding her to the fire for it? Why aren’t you upset at other celebrities who may have supported Ron Paul? It just seems, from this thread, that you have some other agenda going on…

Where's the outrage for these folks?

If This Thread Does Not Go 30+ Pages,I'll Be Upset

*sigh* She DOES endorse a man who thinks it is okay to kill gay people. Did you read the link? He was happy to have this pastors endorsement. This pastor wants to kill gay people. Do you understand what it means to accept a political endorsement? Do you think these people endorse these candidates but don't agree with them on a single issue?

I wouldn't call her that yet. However, I did ask who will she endorse when Ron Paul drops out? Have you read a thing on the other candidates? TheatreDiva90016,let me be clear. I am NOT ashamed or changing my post saying that. You made it sound like I regretted it. I do not. You've made some total BS comments that you've pulled out of thin air and I wanted to be clear.

What do I have no clue what she is talking about? Yes, it is true I wish she had gone into some detail about why she liked this candidate and what in particular it was that drew her in and made her endorse. However, one can only speculate. If I met a person on the street whom I have never met before and they said they endorsed Rick Santorum and thought he was great, would I be wrong in thinking that this person does not like gay people? I am basing my judgment on her endorsement alone. If she does disagree with Ron Paul on anything, I'd like to know what exactly.

WHat other celebrities should I be upset with hun? Oh, and why again are you so concerned about me? Oh, and while you are at it tell me what my agenda is. I mean, you are saying some things about me that are just false yet you can not back a any of it up. I am trying to be rational and ask questions. I wonder why Kelly's publicist didn't handle this better. I wonder why she endorsed Ron Paul. What was it she liked about him. I have questions. All you are doing is bitching, stirring the pot, attacking me, while telling me to move on and take a deep breathe. You are going on wondering why I am fixed on Kelly's endorsement while you seem to be obsessed with me.

How do you know I am not secretly angry with all these people?

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.247592245283407.56259.244828645559767

Maybe I will start a thread on each one of them. I mean, you seem to have all the answers about me. Oh, and FYI. David Letterman supported ROn Paul back in 1988. Over 20 years ago. Before his infamous newsletters and before he took such radical positions.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mY5BZzOFtt4

Lets see who else. Yeah, Chuck Norris believe it or not really doesn't have that big of a Gay fan base so I'll conserve my energy.

Can't find any truth on Jon Stewart's support. Just a basic Google search came up with nothing.COuld care less about the rest.

TheatreDiva90016, take a deep breathe. Let go of all your anger. Relax. Oh, and stop reading my mind and telling me what I am thinking and talking of agenda's and so on.(I am flattered though sweetie.xoxoxoxo)
