What do you guys think? I can't WAIT for this movie!
All I can say is thank GOD Christian Bale is playing Batman. Only the best.

Love the poster, love Christian Bale, love it!
The bottom portion of that building looks very similar to the GE Building at 30 Rock.

The brand new trailer that debuted a couple of weeks ago at the NY Comic Con should be coming online tonight.

Okay, potential CAN OF WORMS here, but I am curious.
Does anyone else look at that first poster and think of what a building looks like after a plane flies into it? It's the first thought I had, and it kind of creeped me out.

DG, that was the 1st thought that came into my head, too. VERY creepy/disturbing...
i dunno, dg. i looked at it and saw the bat. plus i think it's be pretty tough for a plane to leave that kinda hole unless it went into the building upside down.
Love the Joker one. I want one for my wall.
EDIT: DG, it looked like a bat to me when I first saw it...but I can see why someone might think it was a plane. Interesting...

papa - I agree it's not like a photo realistic thing (like the CLOVERFIELD poster,) but it just brought it to mind. I'm curious if it's merely coincidence.
After the initial reaction, I found myself really curious as to why someone would do that type of thing to get his attention (at least that's what I'm assuming is going on.)
Is there a reason why Harvey Dent's portrait is in focus and hand blurred, while Batman and Joker's are foreground focused?
Aaron Eckhart is reason enough for me to see this film.

Mateo - that is interesting (and quite observant of you!) Now I'm curious, as well.
I though plane first... then saw Bat. Maybe that comes from me living 3 blocks from the WTC on 9/11.
might be an homage to who harvey becomes. the joker's card is in focus. batman's bat is in focus. and...well...follow the logic.
Please educate me in Batman knowledge...who is Harvey Dent?
Two-Face.
Maybe Papa. Or it's just an error. :)
If this were Joel Schmuacher directing these installments, I'd agree that it is an oversight.
However, I don't think it's coincidence or error that a button that says "I believe in Harvey Dent" is blurred slightly. I think it's showing how the lines between Harvey and Two-Face is constantly blurred.
Or at least...that's what I want to believe they were thinking.
I'm so out of the loop.
Was Katie Holmes fired (or not asked back I should say) or did she just decide not to sign up for this film?
I think it sucks whenever a different actor plays a role that was played by someone else in the previous installment of a film series.
Is it just me or Heath Ledger's death just make his posters look creepier?
With the attention to detail and lavishness of the TDK campaign it very well could be an artistic choice.
Ray
katie said no due to "conflicts"
guess zenu does'nt like batman
Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes.
