Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce

There is a higher power, as when I went to see Guiness, Fenwyck was in the next cage, and immediately looked up and made his decision......HE picked me.
He was the first cat ever at that shelter who was declawed, something Steve wanted very much.
We both played with with him, and made our decision.
Then they said they only took cash and checks. I left my checkbook at home, and didn't think I had any money. The adoption fee was $65, and I remembered I had a couple of twenties.
Can you believe the amount of cash I had was EXACTLY $65.
It was meant to be.

(and another family got Guiness.)

So far he's made himself at home. MAJOR, MAJOR lapcat, LOVES the shower in the master bedroom, and stands up on his back feet when he wishes to be recognized.
It's a miracle!

They figure he's two years old.

He's beautiful, Elphaba! Looks just like the cat my grandparents had.

Our dog that we had for ten years picked our family too, and we were so blessed to have her with us! Here's to several happy years with the new fam!

Congrats! He's a doll!
That's like what happened when we got Bucky: We had been in a few weeks earlier and there were lots of kittens, and we went back on a whim one day and he was the only one left. When my mom picked him up, he attached himself to her shoulder. He wasn't going to let us leave without him.

thank you one and all......

it is a bit strange to go from a cat who jumped on a kitchen counter-top ONCE in 17 years to one who has now done it twice in 20 minutes.......we have a bit of a learning curve here.

He is gorgeous! I am so happy he found you. Give him lots of snuggles for me. If anyone finds one of those hypoallergenic cats laying around let me know so it can "find me". I want a cat again, but my allergies won't allow it re: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce

I'm glad that you and Steve have a new addition to your family and also that Guiness found a home, too!
