Yes that's true, probably poor choice of words. It is only viewed as 'comeback' by some as to many, ARTPOP didn't reach the level of The Fame Monster and Born This Way, and she hasn't released music since 2013 [although she has been in the public eye with the Oscars, AHS, Golden Globes win, Grammy performance, Cheek to Cheek etc]

I don't think it's the album that's going to put her back on top. None of those are really "radio" hits. I didn't care for the album, but she's not my kind of diva. However, "Lemonade" by Beyonce totally changed the game. That's the BEST album in the past two years just track to track. And I don't really care for Beyonce. But I think it's brilliant as an entire album.

I completely agree about Beyonce. 'Lemonade' was truly perfect, each track seemed to flow into the next with precision, and being a visual album made it even better!

I think he meant more like solo material.
Gave the album another listen and just can't with it. Her vocals are just not my cup of tea. But happy people like it, I guess. Can't imagine it in an arena style tour setting.

Yes, as RippedMan said, she hasn't released solo music/solo album in a while, especially since the music off Cheek to Cheek wasn't her original music.

I'd love to hear Bette Midler sing "Come To Mama" - it sounds like something Marc Shaiman might have produced for her It's The Girls album.
Just Another Day sounds like minor Freddie Mercury.

Completely agree! When I first heard 'Come to Mama', I kept thinking it would be wonderful for Midler!
