Well, according to Andy Towle, the relationship between Reichen and Lance may not be going so well, so Boobs--you're still in the game!

And yes, that other alleged power couple Reichen Lehmkuhl and Lance Bass were continually spotted around town. I saw them twice (as did others) at the Atlantic House (A-House) bar. A stroke of serendipity placed them next to me in a line for the men's room where Reichen introduced me to Lance. We had a brief conversation, but I can't confirm or deny the status of their relationship (which some, in the comments to this post [SEE BELOW], say was a bit rocky). What I can say was that everytime I saw Lance he was well-tucked under the shadowy mask of a baseball cap, and Reichen was extremely polite.

I was at PTown all week and happened to be at the house party in which Reichen and Lance had a HUGE blowout. People just about lined up for the hoe - I mean, throw down. Supposedly Reichen got a little too jiggy with someone in the men's bathroom at the A-House on night. When this fell upon Lance's ears things broke and the earth shook - literally. At once point Lance throw a bottle of glass in Reichen's direction. This fight ran just about over an hour. It was very "Gay's of Our Lives"...

Bravo, Lance and welcome to the out-of-the-closet family.

Regardless of the timing, Lance was/is a member of one of the top seeling music groups of recent memory. His group shattered record sales and were a phenomenon... I will confess, I listened to NSync. So, his group isn't touring and isn't the hottest act around anymore. Things have tos tart somewhere, and they are starting with Lance. Down the road, a superstar will come out of teh closet at the height of his fame or will be out from the beginning, but you can go from nothing to everything overnight. Lance is taking the beginning steps on the journey to make that happen and I applaud him for it!

On IMDB, there is so much hate for Lance, calling him Fag and Queer.....What is this, 1975?......I think it is wonderful that Mr. Bass has the courage to come out.....He's adorable!!

"at once point Lance throw a bottle of glass"?!?! is that a typo of transcription, or cut-and-pasted directly from Towle's site?

"get jiggy" "gays of our lives"?!?! Towle must have been rushing for a deadline....

Too bad about the hate on IMDB. At least when we diss Bass on here it's with wit and style--gently poking fun at the homoerotic nature of most boy bands. I mean, c'mon, "holding the four other guys in my hands"?!?!

The other pull quotes from dearest ROBbO do make Lance sound pretty sensible. Let's hope the P-town incident is a result of an overly dramatic nature....

the Yahoo headline says "Lance Says He's Gay." Is it just me or could that phrasing suggest disbelief of his claim.

Heh, can't say this is all that shocking. I wasn't a big fan of Nsync, but I know the Backstreet Boys' first magazine cover in the US was a gay magazine (I can't think of which one at the moment, but I know Nick Carter was on the cover). Lou Pearlman wanted their target audience to be teenage girls and gay men... I'll just assume it was the same with Nsync. It's sad it has taken Lance so long to do this.

And yeah, Howie is next.

I don't blame Lance at all for taking so long and I believe it is wrong to condemn him or chastise him for that, really. The pressures that are put on you within the industry to stay in the closet is immense...

Lance was always my favorite...
