Didnt he mention something about an accident that almost prevented him from singing? I thought he had a rasp that was natural, but maybe not.

David A is very cute, but the aw shucks thing gets tired...especially for Simon. He called Melinda D out on it last year, for very good reason. This kid is a semipro who knows he's good. It's okay to accept the compliments, little boy.

He seemed to have pulled back on the "Aw, shucks" thing last week. He's definitely a sweet kid though and very talented.
