I'm so sorry to read this, a rotten way for her to go out. I hate cancer.

My spirit honors hers ...

The great thing with human brains is they're fanless, nice and quiet although I'm sure mine whistles a bit sometimes.

I got to see her a couple of years ago at THE FABULOUS PALM SPRINGS FOLLIES.

She was STILL great, lung cancer notwithstanding.

I was watching some old episodes of The Simpsons after rehearsal this evening and the "Marge on the Lam" episode came up, which includes Chief Wiggum popping in "Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows" for his "old-fashioned police chase" (after Ruth Powers accidentally puts it in to start the girls' night out with Marge before switching to "Welcome to the Jungle")

RIP, Ms. Gore.
