Fox is going to let their star commentator go? I doubt it. IF this is true, I will say I was rooting for Seth Meyers, but I think it being election year he couldn't agree to the NBC/ABC deal that proposed.

Fox is not letting him go. He's doing both and will be flying out to L.A. on weekends.

Fox is just a Sunday deal so the travel except waking up for those Monday mornings should not be too bad.
I am happy for him. His wallet got really hit after his very messy divorce and even though he still gets endorsements, the FOX gig was likely just a fraction of his salary with the Giants.

If it's true, he won't last more than a year. I mentioned his name to more than a dozen people this morning, and not one person knew who he was. He'll do zip for the ratings.

Considering how long it took them to find another co-host, I'm sure the powers that be looked at what kind of feedback each guest host generated.

I like him on his own, but I don't love his dynamic with Kelly. I feel like she takes too much of a backseat with him. Maybe she has a crush?
I felt like Seth was the best pairing.

I like anyone who keeps Kelly quiet. She is so annoying. Personally I wish they just cancelled the show. It's tripe.

I didn't want a permanent co-host. I like variety. It was nice having rotating co-hosts.

I agree with you, bdwaygirl. Added a better dynamic to the show with rotating hosts. i would have thought it would have been cheaper also to the producers. If the rotating hosts were paid, I think it would be small in compared to an annual salary or it was a donation to charity in their name.
