(Apologies if there is already a thread on this but..)
Does anybody else think Loretta Devine is just incredible as Adele on Grey's Anatomy? Looking back on old episodes when she'd make humorous cameos I never thought, a matter of seasons later she'd be so incredibly moving! Everytime she now appears, I can't help but anything but moved by her performance. What do people think of her Emmy chances?
She won the Emmy last year and I'd say she has a pretty good shot at winning again this year.
I’m surprised Loretta Devine’s Emmy submission isn’t “Hope for the Hopeless”. That was the episode where Richard sings ‘My Funny Valentine’ to her and it’s just so heartbreaking. I remember watching and thinking that she had just bagged another (well-deserved) trophy. Devine is instead nominated for “If Only You Were Lonely”, which is not as strong.

Speaking of which, are we ever going to see Boston Public released on DVD? What's the hold up?

grey's anatomy is nice show.. i like to watch this show.
this show good to watch. you watch after download resident evil 5 yes?
I wonder if Loretta is done on the show, though. Adele has fallen for a different man through her Alzheimer's and Richard basically let her go and moved on. Unless they bring her character back to die, I can't imagine her being on anymore. I actually thought she was a little over the top this past season.

Loretta Devine was robbed a few years ago. She should have played Big Mama in the revival of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Claire Huxtable was miscast.
Loretta Devine was robbed this year for not being cast as Truvy in the tv version of Steel Magnolias.
Loretta, if you're reading this, please come back to Broadway. You are a favorite of mine.
