Yes-- they don't like him much. That seemed clear at the RNC. And then when you defend Obama, they accuse you of having "Drunk the Kool-Aide." I tell them, "You should try nominating a candidate you like once in a while."

Just read The Amatuer about him. By the way I love Uncle Joe yelling about him getting Bin Laden. This from a man who was against the operation. For your info Obama was not on the seal team. He made the call the way any president would have and I applaud him for it.

Maybe because John Kerry released several years worth of tax returns when he ran. Or maybe it because John Kerry didn't put his money in the Cayman Islands to avoid paying his fair share. Or maybe because Kerry didn't campaign on lowering his own tax rate.

And yes, you were among Tge many people in that election cycle speculating that Kerry married his wife because she was wealthy. You forget what you post a minute after you do so but I remember all of it for years.

The video is fun to watch, certainly, but any GOP party stalwart will simply dismiss the contents as out-of-context snippets from the usual rough-and-tumble horseplay of the Primary season. The very fact that Mittens survived all those months of attacks on his record, his character, his intelligence, etc., PROVES how groundless it all was.

In fact, no thoughtful person could possibly think Mitt Romney a better man to lead this nation than President Obama. Greedy, selfish, thinking people, on the other hand, might very possibly vote for Kevin Federline if he were the nominee of the party whose sole mission is to ensure that the concentration and distribution of wealth and power in this country remains in its current obscenely lopsided pattern.

The destruction of the environment, the evisceration of the bill of rights, the wanton disregard for anyone's interest but their own--these minutiae matter no more or less to them than the trifling biographical details of the front-man they put in the White House.

In fact, a crash-test dummy like Mitt or GW Bush is the ideal candidate rather than some brainiac who is going to try to assert his own ideas or agenda.

Sheldon Adelson, the Koch Brothers, et.al. are not supporting Mittens--they have no interest in Mittens. They are buying access to and influence over the machinery of government. In order to secure that access they must convince an enormous number of incredibly gullible people, anesthetized by reality television and a fat- and chemical-laden diet, to vote for their own impoverishment--in every sense of the word: financial, spiritual, Karmic. The tragedy is how easy it appears to be to achieve this goal.
