Well, I have to say first of all that I love Apple.
Let's just use this thread as an appreciation for the company and it's products, as well as a support thread for Apple users on the board.
Enjoy!
I'll start the conversation off:
I just got a 2.0 Ghz White MacBook. I really enjoy it!

I wish you better luck with yours than I had with mine. They've developed a bad habit of shutting off randomly and not saving any data - even if you've previously saved it. Hopefully the bugs have been worked out by now.
I enjoyed mine as well.

I've been using Macs since about 1989. I currently have a new Intel iMac. Link goes to my previous computer. Get out your stone knives and bear skins!

I've been using Macs since 2002, I started with the iMac and moved up to the Powerbook G4...Now my whole family operates with Macs. Mom has a Mac Mini, Sister has the iBook, and I have the MacBook...all with Airport Wireless.
I even hooked up an old DV Camera to my Powerbook G4 looking over our street as a webcam...and used Bonjour Messaging to watch outside our house with my MacBook. Basically I have a surveillence camera...that caught two kids trying to roll our house the other night.

Posted: 8/10/06 at 8:59pmI love my mac. I have a iMac G3 and a desktop. The only problem is how non compatable it is with certain things. Either way it is still the only brand for me.

Posted: 8/10/06 at 9:05pmI have the new 20 inch screen iMac. I just love it and wish I had gone that route in the beginning instead of 6 years with a Dell.

Posted: 8/10/06 at 10:19pmI'm in a "Macintosh School District", and all the teachers have a G4 powerbook. I really love it, except for the power supply cord. I just purchased #3 today. On the first one, the wire split right at the plug. The second one actually had the tip break off! I'm hoping that the 3rd one's the charm! (Mostly because they're not cheap! This one set me back $80!)

i have Macs both at home and at school. My laptopl is a G4 17-Inch PowerBook and I love it, though I've been having some problems with it freezing lately. I also have a green iPod Mini named conan Hyde Pierce who I will be trading in for a new video iPod this Christmas.
My dad's getting a new ipod now, though. Any recent iPod buyers wanna give any tips as to the newer models?

I just got a 15" Macbook Pro on Tuesday after using PCs all my life, and I am confused as hell. I'm sure it's just about getting used to it.
But I definitely do not like iTunes.

I switched to Mac in 2004 bc I was having serious issues with my PC. I bought a laptop for school....which was the best decision of my life!!! I have the small PowerBook. I haven't had 1/100 of the problems I used to have. I also love the iPods. I have three...
I think I official have a problem!!!!!

"Which big cat is the current OS?"
Jane2 is correct, it's Tiger.
LizzieCurry, Leopard will not be released until next year. It was just previewed at the developers conference.

I can't wait for Leapord to come out, judging by the demo on Apple.com, it looks like they've added some great features.
Wendy, if and when your power adapter breaks again, bring it to the genius bar. I'm also on my third, and have yet to pay for a replacement.
As for my addiction to Apple, it started with a G3 iPod, followed by a 14" G4 ibook, then a video iPod, a G5 iMac (without the intel chip), and soon to be added, a refreshed PowerBook, since my mom has taken my laptop over!!
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05
