Que sorpresa. Still, he's the least heinous of previously possible afflictions. On the other hand, the hardest of all the repubs to beat. Ah well.

It's the "whose your daddy" school of politics. There's an ongoing war; he's moderate on immigration reform and not an evangelical zealot. Many dems who have problems with both Hillary & Obama have already admitted to me that if Hillary's in McCain gets their vote. With Obama it's "let's wait and see".

I never saw this election as a slam dunk for my dems.

its a slam dunk if Hilary doesn't get the nomination, otherwise, mccain is is the next republican disgrace.
