"Mean Girls" was based off of a book written for parents about the struggles their teenage daughters may deal with socially, titled 'Queen Bees and Wannabes'.
That book does not have a plot.
It is not a story or a work of fiction.
The script for "Mean Girls" was very Tina Fey.
Also, the first time I saw "Mean Girls", my best friend and I rented it and watched it in conjunction with "Heathers".
It was an excellent decision.
They compliment each other beautifully.

Homeschooled redneck: And on the third day, God created the Remington bolt-action rifle, so that Man could fight the dinosaurs. And the homosexuals.
Ah. Gotta love Tina Fey.

Why should Caesar get to stomp around like a giant, while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? What's so great about Caesar? Hm? Brutus is just as cute as Caesar. K, Brutus is just as smart as Caesar. People totally like Brutus just as much as they like Caesar. And when did it become okay for one person to be the boss of everybody, huh? Because that's not what Rome is about! WE SHOULD TOTALLY JUST STAB CAESAR!
i'm a plastic. no doubt.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!
It is "Clueless," but for the new millenium, and even better.

I loved this movie. One of my favorites from 2004. Strong writing, strong acting, strong everything.
I don't know if it will be a cult classic, considering that many people enjoyed it. However, in the realm of teen comedies, it will go on to be something of a classic.

Girl: I wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school...I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy...
Damian: She doesn't even go here!
Ms. Norbury: Do you even go to this school?
Girl: No... I just have a lot of feelings...
Ms. Norbury: Okay, go home...

Seriously - this is an awesome movie. I saw it once at the movie theater and then again at the drive-in. I laughed just as hard the second time. (I won't say how many times I've watched the dvd) I also read the book, which is pretty accurate in describing the experience of teenage girls.

Not being a Lohan fan, I had no interest in seeing this movie. Then I saw WEDDING CRASHERS and discovered the magnificence that is Rachel McAdams!
I'll rent MEAN GIRLS this weekend.
