Favourite number from A Chorus Line?
The Music and the Mirror

Which are you more looking forward to in October Company or ACL?
ACL. I've wanted to see it on Broadway since I was 9. Community theatre productions are fine, but the potential for what the show could be based on that...guh. The fact that Company is coming to Broadway is exciting, but I've already seen that production.

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
My friend John. He'd be great for distracting me, because hospitals kind of scare me out.

What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
Cheesy, but BWW. I've made some great friends on this board and I've been able to meet quite a few of them, and it's just been a lot of fun. It's definitely had an impact on my life; there are so many things I've done over the past year that I never thought have the chance to do and now they're almost commonplace, but I can't stop pinching myself. It's still amazing to consider how much has changed over the past 7 months.

What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
I'm a former classically-trained singer that let my skills fall to ruin in high school.

If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
This crate of stuff I have next to my bed. I haven't unpacked from school, so it's kind of cheating, but it has a lot of memorbilia and pictures and stuff.

If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
My sister would probably say that I'm weird. Which is probably true, but weirdness is all relative. I'm not so weird that I can't function in society, I just have really random, slightly bizarre interests, like Discovery Health Channel specials with names like "The Girl with No Face."

What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
Skydiving. Seriously; I love heights.

What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? That you were given?
The last gift I gave was to Emcee, if she wants to share. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles That I was given, my dad took me to Cincinnati for my birthday so I could see Company.

It WAS a great gift. I will share.

When I found out Adam Pascal was touring, I initially didn't think I'd be able to see any of the shows, so I printed out at 5x7 of a really good photo of Adam and I, and mailed it to skittles, so she could ask him to sign it. I ended up seeing Adam in concert three days before she did, so she told me she was just going to give me the picture back, as that might look silly.

She was staying with me when she came down for Rent 10, and returned the photo in an envelope, except she *had* asked Adam to sign it. He wrote:

"To [my name],
Much love and happy birthday
Adam Pascal"

He moved to California less than a week later, so it means a lot and it was a total surprise. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles

Sorry I took so long to finish up, I got distracted. Thank you everyone for venturing in here today! I don't keep up with this thread usually, so I feel bad that I didn't return the favor for everyone else, but yay. It's been fun to realize how many people on BWW I have gotten to know or met and I hope to get to know many of you in the future.

Speaking of which, the next celebrity is someone that I first "met" on the various love threads of our shared obsessions. I've gotten to know her on in recent months and I can't wait to meet her later this summer: sweetestsiren. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles

Aww, thanks so much, skittles! re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles I'm really not sure what to say (not least because it's really late and I'm not very coherent), but I'm really flattered. Anyway, thank you, and I can't wait to meet you, either!

Fantastic job with the Muppet ACL cast, too... that must've been next to impossible.

Thanks, Chica and Em. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles

I had such a good time meeting you when you visited; and we shared such a special experience, too! Thanks for being a great friend; your advice and willingness to listen mean a lot to me.

I feel like asking MORE muppet questions...But I won't.

So, how about a REAL question:

You're a college student, right? What is your major, and what do you plan to do after you graduate?

But more importantly:

Who will you root for in the Raul/Mano mudpit showdown?

Who to root for is kinda moot, cause in that situation, we're ALL winners!!

June 5 needs to get here NOW.

Maybe I should ask John Doyle who he thinks would win. Forget the intelligent, real question I want to ask.

I think we all know who would win. Raul's thighs alone could take Mano.

And...mental picture....

No, not fat. At all. Muscular.

Mano's the one who's...pudgy. But he has skinny legs.

Ok, people now think we're deranged.

You guys are awesome. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - orangeskittles

You're a college student, right? What is your major, and what do you plan to do after you graduate?

I'm glad you decided against a Muppet question, because I think I missed out on the Muppet thing as a child, not counting Sesame Street. Anyway, yes, college student. I'm double-majoring in psychology and biology, and I'm kind of having a crisis currently as to what to do after I graduate next year. Ultimately I would like to go to grad school in some biopsychology or neuroscience field, but I'd like to find a research internship or something else interesting to do right after graduation.

Who will you root for in the Raul/Mano mudpit showdown?

Ahh! Evil, evil question. I'm going to say Mano, but I don't think that Raúl would mind. Updated On: 5/26/06 at 02:52 AM
