Are there any TV showsyou watch relifously? Which ones? The only shows I currently watch religiously are just sports. My schedule prevents me from watching a lot of the serial shows and I am too lazy to set the VCR. If I miss a sporting event I can always catch the highlights on SportsCenter. With that said I used to be addicted to "Married With Children" and "The Drew Carrey Show"....ok...and I lied....I guess I do watch "South Park" every week...
Have you ever been out of the country? If so, Where di you go? If not, where do you WANT to go (list as many as you want!). I will answer both questions. Since my wife is from Buffalo we went into Canada while visting her relatives last summer -- Toronto was such an AWESOME city! When I was in high school I took a trip with my father to the British Isles. We toured parts of England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. It was the experience of a lifetime! There are still three places I would LOVE to go. 1) Paris 2) Rome 3) Athens. I just love history and all three are such historical icons.
You are given a free trip for you, your wife and5 bwwers. Everything is paid for! Who do you take and where do you go? Hmmmm...that is tough because I would take everyone :) Of course we would take the Greece/Italy cruise so that I could hit 2 of my 3 places. I guess I would take Caitie, Kitzy, Erika, SOMMS (App State!) and WannaBeAFoster.
What are some books that you could read over and over again? Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow,
The Abominable Showman by Howard Kissel
Have you ever read EVERYTHING an author has written? If so, who was the author? Sadly, no...unless they have only written one book. However, if you count online theatre articles I read Peter Filichia's columns religiously regardless of which site he migrates to.
If you were given three wishes what would you wish for (no wishing for more wishes!) 1) Enough money to financially free so that I could have financial freedom, make sure my family and relatives were financially set, and so I could give money to various charities. I have no desire to be rich, but it would be nice to be able to afford to go to NYC whenever I want. I also would like to be able to help ouy struggling arts organizations with funding.
2) I would wish to be able to have Gene Kelly's dancing ability so that I could have a career performing!
3) I would wish that theatre would become as popular and thriving as it was in the 30's -- 50's and that new and daring shows would be able to be produced because there wouldn't be quite the liability.
If you could change three things in US policy what would they be? First, that the president would be upfront with the US people and not do things and then admit to them later (or trust false information to make HUGE decisions). I agree with a FEW of the things this administration has done but I feel that they have gone about them in the wrong way. Second, I believe in what George Washington said about political parties that they are bad for the country. I am so sick of partisan politics. I wish we had candidates who truly stood for what THEY believe in and not what someone else pressures them into believing (or forces them to believe). I get so tired of all the mudslinging back and forth and all the attempts each party uses to discredit the other. I am so soured on politics that I hardly follow it anymore. You can never be sure when you are hearing the truth. I know that it would be next to impossible to do because of all the funding that parties are able to generate...but I think it would be nice to be able to unite behind a candidate because of what they stand for and not for who they stand with. I have so many friends who are both democrat and republican and it sickens me that many of them can't get along (even though they believe essentially the same thing) just because of the party they belong to.
Who do you think was the best president? The worst? Best: FDR because he helped us through the depression, set up the New Deal, and guided us through WWII
Worst: Probably either U.S. Grant or Warren G. Harding...both we not fit to be presidents and their administrations were peppered with numerous scandals.
Beach or mountains? Mountains to live, beach for vacation
Ocean or pool? For the purpose of swimming I would say a pool, for hanging out and enjoying a vacation I would say the ocean
Pepsi or Coke? Coke, although since I am from NC I am supposed to say Pepsi (since it was started here)
Red or blue? Blue...which makes up about 90% of my wardrobe
Sesame chicken or sweet and sour? Haha...where did this question come from??? SESAME CHICKEN!
What is your favorite Mexican dish? Dinner #11 which includes a beef burrito, taco, and rice...and then I get a side of cheese dip for my nachos!
How is your ideal steak cooked? Medium to Medium-Well, it depends on the place
What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate, Apple Pies, and if I am at a fancy restaurant -- Creme Brulee
