Thanks for all the love everyone!!
Beacon:
Favorite Sandwich filling: Veggie patty, with romaine and ketchup.
Favorite name for a boy? for a girl?: Boy - Lucas Girl - Lily
What will your epitaph be?: Thank God she finally knocked off.
Which thread do you check first when you open up BWW?: I usually just scan the first page of the off-topic board and see what interests me. I'll usually check out this one and leave something for CotD, the Sunset & 42nd thread if there is a recent podcast out and the any meltdown du jour thread.
What three things do you never leave home without? My cell phone, my ipod and my dignity.
Kidding about that last one.
If you were strolling down the street in NYC and suddenly
found yourself face to face with Mister Wilson, what would you
do/say? I would probably vomit down the front of myself. I don't really get starstruck with most people, but for some reason that man just makes me lose all mental function whatsoever.
Did you see "Hard Candy"? No, I still haven't. The last movie I actually saw in theater was The Producers. I am so poor right now I can't even afford an $8 movie ticket.
Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate? Dark Chocolate all the way. It's richer and more satisfying, and it's got antioxidants so it's not entirely empty calories. Yummmmmm.
Papa: From you I would expect nothing less.
Coming out of CotD lurking to give a big hug and lots of congrats to Miss Colleen
Congratulations, Colleen!
Poking my head in to say congrats! Enjoy the weekend!
Congrats Colleen!
You're not only smart, but you're also a smart ass, which I love. I'm sure you know what's coming next, but if not, where the hell have you been?
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?

Wow! I feel so very loved. You all know how to brighten a board celebrity's day!
shameless
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives? This question is hard cause I don't really want anyone to have to be in a hospital bed!! But, and this is probably a cop out, I am going to say Jason Robert Brown. I'd really love the opportunity to pick his brain, and spending the day discussing theory, form and composition sounds divine to me (yeah, the music major geek in me is coming out) and perhaps some of his genius would rub off by proxy? A gal can dream.
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year? A production of "Joseph" that I closed a few months back. I had been out of the Twin Cities theater scene while I was in college, mostly focusing on school shows and directing at my children's theater, and wasn't feeling creatively fulfilled and was very socially cut-off. "Joseph" was me stepping back into the scene and it was glorious.
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you? That I am shy to the point of absurdity. Seriously. I am. I've struggled with panic disorders a lot in the past and it often manifests itself in complete social retardedness.
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out? Other than my animals (which are just a given), my photo albums, my computer backups (all my digital photos are on them) and I'd probably try and carry my baby grand piano out on my back.....I don't have renter's insurance!!
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be? People who know me REALLY well would probably comment on my passion. I don't just like something, or enjoy something, I put my entire being into it. I'm also a major dreamer, which surprises people who don't know me well because I portray myself as practical and very serious, but I always have big ambitions even if the focus isn't always there (I tend to be off in a million directions, if it was up to me I would have graduated from college with three majors and four minors).
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try? This is probably fairly cliche, but sky-diving. That seems like the ultimate adrenaline rush.
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given? I don't know that I've ever given anyone a great non-material gift, but I'm trying to change that. Lately I've been very focused on not leaving things unsaid. For example, on opening nights for shows I'm working on write out handwritten notes for the cast and crew telling them each what they mean to me as a person and an artist. The greatest gifts I have ever gotten are the genuine responses I've received in return.
Congratulotions colleen!!!
If you were a pair of shoes, what shoes would you be and why?
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them?
If we went out with you and your best friend, what story would he/she tell us that you would not have told us yourself?

If you were a pair of shoes, what shoes would you be and why? My platform wedges. They're so damn sexy!!
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them? Jesus Christ (whoa, typing that made me vomit a little bit). I am not really religious (though I was raised very Catholic) but the study of theology is one the many subjects that fascinates me (it was another area I wanted to major in). I'd love to know what exactly he intended, if we are heading at all in the right direction, what he thinks of the crazy fundies and whether or not he and Mary Magdalene were actually going at it on the side. My cooking is pretty embarrassing, so I'd probably order some vegetarian Thai takeout.
If we went out with you and your best friend, what story would he/she tell us that you would not have told us yourself? I'm really in between best friends right now, so I guess I'll go with my ex-boyfriend who knew me better than anyone has ever known me. He'd probably tell of the time I drove 2 1/2 hours one way, on a week night with class at 8AM the next morning, to get some action (we spent maybe an hour together before I hit the road back to school). That was wayyyyy out of character for me.

That made me laugh right out loud...I could just imagine the look on Mister Wilson's face if someone looked up at him on the street and then got sick.

1. Would you rather be a nun or a prostitute? I waffled on this question slightly. I think it would depend on the grade of prostitue. If we're talking about Anna Nicole Smith level, millionaire prostitute, I could probably make an exception. But none of this two dollar street corner whore stuff, in that case I would definitely enter the convent. I really don't think being a nun would be all that bad, other than the no sex part.
2. In your house, what is the most 'sexual' thing you have? Other than the chains and whips on the wall above my bed? I think I have some flavored massage oil around this joint somewhere.
3. Have you ever used an eraser for anything except erase? .....I'm not really sure what else you'd use an eraser for....
4. What is the weirdest thing you learned in health class I don't think I actually ever learned anything in health class. I was probably more qualified to teach health class than my health teachers. Seriously. I'm not kidding.
5. Would you rather swim in the ocean with your best guy friend or your best girl friend? Guy friend, I guess? I don't know. I don't particularly care. I'll swim in the ocean with whomever will give me the airfare to get to a freaking ocean.
6. If your significant other jumped off a cruise ship- would you jump too? I don't have an S.O. right now, so I'm not locked in that idiotic love spell, so HELLLLL NOOO.
7. If your doorbell rang and you opened up to see a zebra, what would be the first thing you do- (except close the door) Probably scream.
8. If you had to pick, would you rather smell gasoline or flatulence? Gasoline. I don't really mind the smell of gasoline.
9.Do you enjoy popping bubble wrap? Who doesn't?
10. If you were able to kill either Saddam Huessein or Osama Bin Laden- who would you choose? Neither. Determining their fate is not my place.
