Thanks to everyone here who has posted. Shameless: If I am recuperating in a hospital bed I don't want anyone next to me. I know this may sound selfish but I have a reason for this. Having been in this position many times, I focus so intently on healing that I simply don't want anyone there to distract me. And you know what? I heal haster than most people because of this deep focus. Something that you suprise you about me?.......Let me think. Ok, I am an adult survivor of childhood physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I am not ashamed about it all and very proud of my ability to work through it. House on fire ? Hell, everything in there are nothing more than material possesions and can easily be replaced. I live alone so I would just get myself out! I can't be replaced! Asking an important person person in my life about me......I am very close to many people and they would pretty much say the same thing. I am honest, funny, stubborn, creative, and anger easily. This would be very accurate. Something I have always wanted to try: I have always wanted to go scuba diving. The last great gift someone gave me: I would have to say unconditional love and caring. I was going through a really rough period in my life where I was actively attempting suicide with great frequency. I was lying on a stretcher in the ER after a drug over dose and someone came up to me and said," Damn it Marianne, I care about you and it hurts me me to see you so unhealthy!". Yet, he wouldn't leave my side. Now mind you, this was the man who just happened to be my gynecologist and he just did a hysterectomy on me a few months earlier. I looked him staright in the eye and told him how miserable I was because I couldn't have children. I wanted to bring a child into this world that wasn't unloved or abused as I was. He looked right back at me and said, " People like you and I will never have it easy." Then he gave me a big hug. That day was a major turning point for me......and I never attempted suicide again. It is 15 years later and I still have a good friend who does my Pap Smears. We each gave each other gifts of friendship that day.

Day Dreamer: Please dont ask what type of tree I would be.......that's a Barbara Walters thing and I really don't like her. People over for dinner: There would be two people I would like to have for dinner at the same time......DollyPop and William Shakespeare. First, I miss DollyPop very much as we haven't seen each other since 1976 { hint} As for William Shakespeare, he would be a great guest because I think he should see that his plays are still popular in modern times. The combo of Shakespeare and DollyPop would be great because I know how much DollyPop likes Shakespeare. I don't know what I would serve. Perhaps fish. If we went out with you and a best friend what would we hear about you? HMMMMMMMMM. That is a tough question and I might have to get back to you on that.

Color and Light: Oops! Sorry I missed your question. Have you ever been to another country? Yes I have , but only to two countries. The forst is Canada. I have been to Quebec, Ontario, New Foundland, New Brunswick, British Columbia and Manitoba. I think the west coast of Canada and the Canadian Rockies are magnificent. I did go to Europe once and that was to Spain when I was 11. Perhaps, I have seen a great deal of the US and not foreign countries. My dream is to go to Israel.

I would say my brain because that is the heart of my sexuality or anyone's for that matter. Eraser use: This is a helpful hint for when you can't find the backs to your earrings. Take a tiny piece of eraser and stick on the post instead of a back. It is a good temporary earring back. What was the werdest thing you learned in Health Class? I don't know because I was too busy having a crush on my teacher with his huge rippling muscles......gorgeous eyes.....slim physique.......my it's getting hot in here. Would I rather swim in the ocean with my best girl or guy friend? Well if my guy friend had on Speedoes I would choose him. If my significant other jumped off a cruise ship, would I jump too? NY AD GAL: What brought you to BWW? I have always had a deep love for the theater since I was a small child growing up in NY. One night, I was surfing the Interent looking for articles on the theater. I came across this article on Carol Channing and started reading it not really looking at who wrote it. I took a look at the picture of her and standing next to her was DollyPop. He was an English teacher in my high school on Long Island and advisor for the Drama Club. My head was flooded with wonderful memories of trips to see productions in NYC, plays he directed, etc. I emailed him and asked he if remembered me. After all it had almost been thirty years since we saw each other and I just figured he forgot. No way! He emailed me back 2 minutes later and said he remembered me and we spent a great deal of time online reminscing. BTW, we both graduated from the same high school. He was in '65 and I was in '75. That's 1865 for him and 1975 for me. He is so much older! I joined BWW that day and enjoy everyone's friendship.
