Congrats, Trace!

Yay Trace, the sweetie!
Congratulations, Tracey!
What are you leaning on in that picture?
And what are you hiding behind your back?
What are your top five theatre experiences so far, WAT?
What is your ideal meal? What is your favourite comfort food dish?
Anything pasta! My favorite comfort food is probably lasanga.
What are you leaning on in that picture?
I'm leaning on a railing to a staricase in the Hiatt in Grand Central. You'll notice there is a hand on my shoulder...that is cturtle's hand.
And what are you hiding behind your back?
My sunglasses...I didn't want them in the picture.
What are your top five theatre experiences so far, WAT?
1. Ragtime (first time i ever got chills in the theater)
2. Parade (first time i ever cried in the theater)
3. Caroline, or Change (just brilliant)
4. The Light in the Piazza (saw it seven times including the final performance...loved this show!)
5. not really sure...i don't think my 5th best has happened yet
Sorry I'm late with the tiara, but I had to rip it off of Jaily's head and he chased me for 3 blocks until I lost him in a sea of tourists...jeez. Congrats WAT !!!
1) What inspires you?
2) If you could spend the day with 1 person (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you talk about?
3) If you were putting together a scrapbook, what would be in it?
Congratulations!!
If you could only see one flop before your time, which would you choose to see? What hit would you see?
What was your favorite meal in Washington, DC?
WAT is experiencing internet difficulties at work and will respond once the problem is fixed.
Whew! I think my internet is back for now.
What inspires you?
New shows that open in NYC inspire me to go to work and make money so I can buy tickets to the shows and see them multiple times...even if they are horrible.
If you could spend the day with 1 person (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you talk about?
Heather Locklear. I was totally obsessed with her growing up (and thought that I wanted to marry her). Melrose Place was my all time favorite show, mostly because of her. I even sent in a tape for FANATIC, an old show on MTV, but I sent the tape in too late and they had already picked a winner. I'm convinced if my tape had gotten in on time, I would have won. I would ask her all about her experience working on Melrose Place and also working on Dynasty and T.J Hooker. I really want her to do a straight play on broadway so I can stage door and meet her in person (wishful thinking probably...but it's nice to dream).
If you were putting together a scrapbook, what would be in it?
All of my playbills, souvenir programs, ticket stubs and anything else theater related that I own. I also have enough Melrose Place memorobilia to fill a scrap book.
If you could only see one flop before your time, which would you choose to see? What hit would you see?
The flop would be the first preview of Bring Back Birdie on Monday, January 26, 1981. The hit would probably be the OBC of Bye Bye Birdie...the show that made me fall in love with Broadway musicals.
What was your favorite meal in Washington, DC?
Pumpkin ravioli in a sage cream sauce...delicious!
Oh, believe me. You do NOT want to have seen Bring Back Birdie.
I would have LOVED it, I'm sure!
I guess I missed Jaily! Congrats, Jaily.
WAT---enjoy your day!
Question: If you could put together your "favorites" (actors, composers, sets, costumes, theatre, etc.) all into the ultimate WAT Broadway show... who would they be? And what would the show be?
If you could put together your "favorites" (actors, composers, sets, costumes, theatre, etc.) all into the ultimate WAT Broadway show... who would they be? And what would the show be?
Actors: Carol Channing, Audra McDonald, Mary Martin, Robert Preston, Joel Grey and John Raitt
Composers: Jerry Herman and Aherns and Flaherty
Sets: Huge elaborate sets like Wicked, Chitty Chitty and hopefully The Pirate Queen
Costumes: As long as they are designed by Catherine Zuber, I'm fine
Theatre: The Mark Hellinger Theater would reopen with my show
The show would probably be the worst flop since In My Life...but I'm sure I would love every second of it!

Nonsense!
I'd buy a ticket to that.
...and I'd bring a date. You're on your way to "sold out!"
Couldn't possibly be as bad as RAGGEDY ANN, right?
True dat.
Congrats WithoutATrace
*YWIW does a happy dance*
My standard question - boxers, briefs, or as per Jaily - commando?
Boxers every day. Briefs when requested.
why "withoutatrace" ?
oh sorry, Robbo. Guess I missed it when you asked the first time.
Without A Trace is one of my favorite TV shows on CBS Thursday nights at 10pm. I have been watching it since it first aired in 2002. Anthony LaPaglia is amazing in it. Eric Close is so cute. And Enrique Murciano was on another show I used to watch religiously...Spyder Games on MTV.
