"Jane 2: The Quel" (just in case people think it's these-quel because of the "2").

Well, it has to be a comedy because your sense of humor and funny stories MUST BE shared with the world. But it has to have a touch of sadness, too. I think that if she were alive, Guilietta Masina would play you. She brings playfulness and pathos together on the screen better than any other actress in the history of cinema. (Just my opinion folks, don't "bust a light bulb" over this comment, okay? )

The film has to be shot in color because I cannot imagine your life in black-and-white. You are way too colorful.

It should probably be a musical, now that I think of it, but one in the vein of "Rocky Horror"...not just because that movie had such a profound effect on you but also because it's crazy, twisted and fun! (Just like you...and I mean that as a compliment.)

At the same time, there should be some strong visual images that are projected silently to capture your wistfulness and memories.

You have to pick the other actors to play the people in your life...although I can recommend that the actress who plays me be someone "simple" like Salma Hayek or Charlize Theron or Keira Knightly...you know, someone "plain" who looks just like me.)

Thanks, Janey. I especially think the suggestion about Salma playing me is genius. As long as she can lose the accent, you know? I mean, everything else about her is SO me.

Yay Tiff! Biggest regret- that I sold the Hockney portrait of me.

Something I'm proud of-embarking on so many different careers and artistic endeavors and becoming accomplished at each one before going on to the next.

I can tell you exactly what I'm going to do next-move all the furniture and junk to the middle of each room in my apt. to have it painted next week! you laugh but this will be harder than anything else I've been doing.
