Congratulations Boobs! You are well deserved of this award. I can't thing of a better way to start my day than with one of your daily chuckles. Would you believe that I pass your entries around all over the country and my Mom in California thinks you are hysterical. I would like to know where you get these fantastic stories from. Do you write them yourself? I have always admired your sense of humor and would like to know what role it plays in your life.
Craig....1. What are the top 5 indidual performances that you have witnessed first hand (musically/theatrically)....in random order.....Carole King at Radio City....Michael Buble at Town Hall.....Annie Lennox at The Apollo theater....Natalie Joy Johnson at Joe's Pub..and all of the Standing Ovations.
2. If you could have the answers to any three questions - what would they be and why those three?...Why did the attacks on Sept.11,2001 happen? Why is there an AIDS epidemic? Why do loved ones leave us? I pick these 3 because they affect a great many of us...and some need answers.
3. What would be your perfect day in Manhattan?... A matinee of a B'Way show....dinner at Luxia....an evening performance of a B'Way show ending with.a handsome carriage ride through Central Park.
4. Describe 3 significant risks or chances you've taken in your life that have altered your world.....Getting married.....having children....working on Wall St.
5. What's one thing you HAVE to do before you die? Meet my family in Italy.
6. If given the choice between knowing and not knowing when you were going to die which would you choose? I love surprises..so Not knowing.
7. If you had a time machine - would you change anything about your life? What about history? Would you leap forward to see what will happen to you? There would be nothing I would change..I believe everything happens for a reason...so I wouldn't go back in time to change history and I don't want to know what the future holds..I want to experience it when it happens.
Oooo YAY!!! Boobsie is the celeb of the day.. Which means its right to the gutter for the whole board..
Congrats sweety!
*escapes from the clutches of work*
Had to give my boobsie more hurrahs on his day.
I'll just throw my 2 questions at you at once, and I'll check back in later.
If you were a tree, what tree would you be and why?
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them? (this is a more relaxed/casual atmosphere than someone you'd interview)
Yenta...I would like to know where you get these fantastic stories from. Do you write them yourself? I have always admired your sense of humor and would like to know what role it plays in your life. .....It's so nice to know that you enjoy my chuckles and send them all over...that's why I post them. Friends say I remember jokes the way most people remember a script on a play they're doing. We could be sitting talking about cows (that's for harris) and all of a sudden I'm telling a joke about cows. When I finally signed up for an AOL account and all my friends started getting email addresses I started sending out a "Daily Joke"...when a friend's company rejected the emails because of the word "joke" I changed it to "chuckle" so he would get them....I always have to find away to get around things. Anyway..I would send my daily chuckle to so many friends that twice AOL blocked my account thinking I was sending out SPAM mail....so now I have 2 separate groups of chuckle friends. One day I decided to start posting my daily chuckles for my BWW family to see if they liked it...well if I didn't post it I would get PM's of "where's the chuckle" and so I decided that you all like it so kept it up. Humor has always been a major part of my life....my Mom had problems with my dad as far back as I can remember and would cry and I hated to see the person I loved the most to suffer like that and so I would say and do anything to make her laugh. Her favorite was when I would tie a dish rag around my head and do Prissy from "Gone with the Wind" and I'd say in her high pitch voice...."I don't know nuthin' 'bout birthin' no babies"...and would do a whole routine for her....until she forgot what she was crying about. So laughter to me can be the best medicine in most situations.
Daydreamer....If you were a tree, what tree would you be and why? A Balsam fir so that at Christmas people can put their balls on me and light me up !!!!
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them? (this is a more relaxed/casual atmosphere than someone you'd interview)......Bernadette Peters and I would make her an Italian feast..of course I would serve Lazzara bread.
b*pete. good choice!

Oh Boobs, don't you mean "be" Prissy instead of "do" Prissy?
I'm laughing by the way because GWTW was on again yesterday and I watched making it my 69th viewing. REALLY!
Congratulations! I see no one has passed the tiara on to you.
Career wise: if you weren't working in the field you are now, what would you be doing (could be a fantasy one, too)?
Hey Boobs! Congrats my friend! It’s about damn time too.
I’ve been waiting for this day since Craig started this thread.
You were the first person to make me feel welcome at bww. Not to mention, that you’ve had my back on several occasions since. So, I just wanted to thank you and to let you know that, like just about everyone else, I’m completely crazy about you. Enjoy your day!
I’ve got a lot of work to catch up on, but I’ll be back later with questions.
Patronus and Craig, I’m sorry I missed your days, but I did a lot of catch up reading late last night when I returned from the frigid northeast. Easiest 14 pages of thread I’ve ever read!
"If you were a tree, what tree would you be and why? A Balsam fir so that at Christmas people can put their balls on me and light me up !!!! "
Oh my goodness - a second great chuckle out of you today! I'm still laughing over this one - or maybe it's the mental picture of this little boy doing his Prissy routine.... too, too funny!
Ok - question time:
Would you describe one typical work day in the life of Boobs? How about one typical weekend day?
What do you think is the biggest crisis facing humanity today? (A little rewording of the monster question I hit poor Craig with.)
And my oldie but goodie - We are each the architect of our own heaven. What is yours going to be like?
Dottie...Career wise: if you weren't working in the field you are now, what would you be doing (could be a fantasy one, too)? If I wasn't working on Wall St. I'd be an Art teacher....I'm actually certified K through 12...by now I'm sure it's exprired. There were no teaching jobs when I graduated so I came to Wall St. just for the summer...24 years ago.
shameless.....I'll always have your back darling..you never pretended around here to be someone you're not..I admire you for that. XO

Congratulations, Boobs!
*the cows bring in tea and cookies for boobs*
Some may not know that Boobs has quite a singing voice. So my question: Which role in what musical do you think would be a perfect match for your talents? (with the usual Jersey Boys exclusion)
boobs i was just looking at your pictures in your profile. are you a mary tyler moore show fan? huh? huh? i love mary tyler moore. i met her, too!
Mamie...Would you describe one typical work day in the life of Boobs? How about one typical weekend day? Work week...Up at 4:30 a.m..shave and shower....let dogs out.....feed dogs....post chuckle on BWW and email to friends...let dogs out again....get dressed.....run to catch 5:30 bus into NYC....get into work at 6:50 a.m..works until about 6:30 p.m..catch bus back to Jersey..gets home about 7:30 p.m. Let's dogs out..feeds dogs....cooks something to eat....in bed by 10 p.m and asleep by 11:00 p.m (hopefully).
Weekend....get up about 8 a.m....let dogs out..feed dogs....make coffee....drive to pick up sons (about 45 min. drive)..come back home, drops off shirts picks shirts up at dry cleaners. Decides what the sons would like to do and do it...usually a movie or just hanging out watching a movie or playing video games....sometimes even go out for dinner. I try to keep weekends flexible for my boys.
What do you think is the biggest crisis facing humanity today? (A little rewording of the monster question I hit poor Craig with.) Lack of compassion.
And my oldie but goodie - We are each the architect of our own heaven. What is yours going to be like? So many thoughts going through my mind right now Mamie. I guess I would just want my heaven to be a reunion with family and friends that have left this world before me.
Boobs – if you’re trying to make me cry, you can just give it up. I don’t cry. I never cry. I’ve cried maybe 5 times in the last 10 years. So, just forget it.
*wipes tear*
Thank you. Right back at ya, babe!
Yes ohhoney....I love Mary Tyler Moore !!!
favorite episode?
Yaay Boobsie! I was waiting for this one too. One of the most entertaining, compassionate and umm...cheerer-upper poster on BWW---no, not just BWW, one of the most above people you'll meet
So glad we've gotten to hang out for a little bit. Twas an entertaining dinner.
I should ask you a question...umm...do you think it's a bad sign if often I still haven't gone to sleep when you post your morning chuckle? It's usually a good sign that it's time for me to sleep...

Boobs - If you could live next to ANY celebrity - who would it be and why? And how often do you think you would be peeking over their fence?
