Undi....My question for the evening - would you please tell one of your stories about Grandma and her escapades? Oh God...so many to choose from..okay one of my favorites....she always has rosary beads in her hands....well she wakes up one morning and comes into the family room saying she can't find her rosary beads,,,so I tell her that I'll come into her room and find them....well as she turns around and I go to follow her into her room I tell her that I found them...she turns and looks at me and says "where?"...I tell her to pull her house dress out of her butt and the rosaries will fall to the floor..yep..they were hanging from her butt like a tail...hee hee

It is unfortunate that I have been forced all day to orbit far, far away from my beloved iBook. This, of all days! BOOBSDAY!

If you asked me, I could write a book...a BOOBS BOOK!

Boobs is one of the all-time sweetest, friendliest, most fun-loving, open and sensitive people on the BWW Board. It's so easy to become friends with Boobs because he is so "real." He's all heart and still full of opinions. He's living proof that you can be smart, witty and commanding and still be nice.

I think we all feel like we're Boobs' big sisters and brothers...or that he's the little brother we all wished we had.

Boobs, I think you're magnificent, in a gentle way. You should be given the title of "Broadway World Ambassador (BWA!)"! You would charm everyone on the planet and have them lined up at theatre box offices across 8 continents. (Do they have theatres in Antarctica?) They'd all think, "I'll have what HE'S having!"

You're a model for us all. I aspire to be as good-natured and kind as you are. It'll take a lot of practice on my part, but if I can positively affect even one tiny fraction of all the people you make happy, I will be a success.

I was going to ask you about your earliest memory, but someone beat me to it. Then you answered "Earliest memory? My 4th Christmas and opening 2 Beatle albums....Introducing the Beatles and Meet the Beatles."

That's incredible because it was exactly the same for me! Well, it would have been exactly the same if I hadn't celebrated an additional 10 Christmasas first.... Everybody here IS SO YOUNG!

So - no more questions. I did try to find something that I wanted to send to you. I never did find it, but I did find this little joke. I'll pass it on to you and you may keep it for a morning chuckle sometime:

Sex and Golf

A fellow has a week off from work and decides to play a round of golf every day.

First thing Monday morning, he sets off on his first round and soon catches up to the person in front. He sees that this is a woman and, as he catches up to her on a par 3, that, in fact, she's very attractive. He's interested and suggests that they play the rest of the round together.

She agrees and a very close match ensues. She turns out also to be a very talented golfer and she wins their little competition on the last hole. He congratulates her in the parking lot, then offers to give her a lift when he sees she doesn't have a car. All in all, it's been a highly enjoyable morning.

On the way to her place, she thanks him for the morning's company and competition and says she hasn't enjoyed herself so much on the course for a long time. He pulls up to her house, they kiss and she shows him her appreciation...

The next morning he spies her at the first tee and suggests they play together again. He's actually quite competitive and slightly peeved that she beat him the previous day. Again they have a magnificent day, enjoying each other's company and playing a tight competitive round of golf. Again she beats him at the last hole, again he drives her home and again she shows her appreciation.

This goes on all week, with her beating him narrowly every day. This is a sore point for his male ego but, nevertheless, in the car home from their Friday afternoon round, he tells her that he has had such a fine week that he has a surprise planned: dinner for two at a fancy candle-lit restaurant followed by a night of passion in the penthouse apartment of a city hotel. Surprisingly, she bursts into tears and says she can't agree to this. He can't figure out what the fuss is about but eventually she admits the reason.

"You see," she tearfully sobs, "I'm a transvestite."

He is aghast. He swerves violently off the road, pulls the car to a screeching halt and curses madly, overcome with emotion. "I'm sorry," she repeats. "You bastard," he screams, red in the face, "You cheating bastard. You've been playing off the women's tees all week!!"

Boobs, I know that the first thing you do in the morning (after posting the BWW morning chuckle) is say your rosary. So here's a lovely set of rosary beads for you to use in the dwindling hours of your reign. Just promise you won't get them stuck up your butt, okay?

I adore Boobsie, but can confidently say that I never felt like Boobs' BIG sister or him as my LITTLE brother.

Maybe an uncle...

Okay one more question, don't know if I'm phrasing this right but...as everyone has said you're sweet and wonderful to everyone and such...so what do you with your anger/frustration? How do you avoid letting it affect you and especially your relationships and how do you overcome human weakness to reach that level of sheer positiveness in viewing others?

How do you avoid letting it affect you and especially your relationships and how do you overcome human weakness to reach that level of sheer positiveness in viewing others? ......That's tough.....it seems I can keep a lot of anger built up inside of me and then just think about it and wonder if it's really worth fighting about and feel it's better to just let it go. I try not to act right away on things that upset me....I try and rationalize my feelings. I find that if I act out right away I say things that I will regret later...I don't like having regrets in my life.....so I let things stew. Most of the times this works...other times I have been known to explode...depends on the circumstance. In relationships I learned at an early age NOT to go to bed mad at each other....even if you have to stay up all night and talk about your feelings until you are no longer angry at your partner you have a better chance of making things work.
Another things is..I will take things from where they come....I have friends who can be rude to others and I've found away to just say.."That's just who they are" and either I accept it or I let the friendship fizzle out. I try and surround myself with positive people and I find you have less frustration in your life. You have to just figure out a way to let things go....not to let things bother you...unless someone is really hurting you, then you need to do something about it.....most of the times just walking away is the best medicine.
