Ok, so... if you were a pair of shoes, what shoes would you be and why?
If you could anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them? (more casual/intimate than an interview)

I say, I say, I adore me some Foggie! Little Chicken Hawk just cracks me up!
Thanks God-daughter. "You are so beautiful to me"
Thank you Miss Jane.
DD, with fans like you a fella could get a swelled head.

If you were a pair of shoes, what shoes would you be and why?
Actually, I wouldn't ever be a pair of shoes. I loathe and detest them. I love to be barefoot. I love to feel each blade of grass, each grain of sand, each rock under my foot.
If you could anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them? (more casual/intimate than an interview)
Without being gratuitous, I really would love to have dinner with a BWW member, DG. I know that we could just talk and talk and laugh and talk for days on end. I always ask my guest(s) what they prefer to eat and then I attempt to make it to their liking. I love to cook, but even more, I love READING cookbooks and discovering new recipes.

Anytime, SOMMSY, anytime.
I'm not as particular about what I eat as I am concerning where, how and with whom. Obviously, the company would be perfection. If we could have a secluded garden table, that would be nice. And just so you wouldn't have to work too much, but could rather sit and enjoy the experience, perhaps we could get Josh Duhamel and Tom Welling to serve and cater to our every whim.
Just a thought

I know your friends know this (probably better than their own names!) but I have to ask - from whence commeth SonofMammaMiaSam?
Once upon a time on a since closed theater message board there was a little tween named Samantha. She luv, loved, luv-ed Rent, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Mamma Mia. She incessantly babbled on and on about the shows and their stars and their time together at the stage doors. She simply bugged the living crap out of me. I plotted ways to off the silly little twit every time I encountered her. When we came here I named myself in her honor -- a combo of Sam(antha), Mamma Mia and Son of Sam--who's methodology I'd taken to researching.
BTY: MommaMiaSammy came after me, not before. And the silly little twit no longer bothers me and posts here under another name, from another show she love, luved, luv-ed.

Cookie: Divine! I still have a small square left for a special day. Hmmmm ...
DG: Oh my yes, catered and served (naked) by the boys. Scotch, don't forget the scotch!
Boobs: Thank you for changing Miss America's for me. That Holland woman is a regular on the 700 Club. You gotta be a byatch when gay men don't like you. You know I adore Miss Suzette and she hangs in a place of honor in the "Miss America Lounge". I would kiss you in the rain, over and over. Is that thunder I hear in the distance.

My hostess gift for the evening - a bottle of Lagavulin, which is very robust, peaty and has the most delicious smokey aroma. It will serve nicely to take the chill off after the coolness of the evening sets in.
Of course, if it's not completely successful, perhaps the boys could help with that, as well.

Some things go together so easily and well, they just plan themselves.
Not that I think either of us are easy.
Or well, for that matter

Sorry D, no flaming batons in this answer -- just a flamer.
Can you please rate you top 5 Miss America's of all time in the talent category please.
1. Suzette Charles - Kiss Me In The Rain
2. Vanessa Williams - Happy Days Are Here Again
3. Kimberly Aiken - Summertime from Porgy and Bess
4. Heather Whitestone - Ballet to Via Dolorosa
5. Evelyn Ay - While I of course didn't see this performance in 1954, Evelyn read me the poem she performed as her talent. Beyond amazing!
An interesting fact is that Evelyn Ay Sempier (the last Miss Pennsylvania to win the crown) was engaged at the time she was crowned. Her husband-to-be was serving in the Navy on the same ship as was my father, who was also engaged--to my mother. A coincidence ... I think not!
