Shira, thanks!
OMG, I need Idina to help me keep up with these posts!
Yes, Addy, you DO need to needlepoint that for me since I lost my last NPd pillow.
Cookie, please devise a menu.
Addy, my favorite drink in general is coffee. Can't live without it (on cup four right now!). If we're talking alcoholic, it's definitely the margarita.
My favorite dessert is a little tougher. I'm going to go with a "traditional" after-meal dessert and say tiramisu.

A toast to you, bwaysinger! Enjoy your day! =)
Congrats, bwaysinger! Have a fantastic day
Thanks, Jac and Erika. If you guys were REALLY in the mood to congratulate me, you could record a duet for me.
I'll call Idina for you-- she knows what celebrity is like.
Oh, and bwaysinger? Can I have your autograph?
Congrats! My first thought when I saw this post was, "Well, FINALLY!"
You mentioned that you went to college for music. Does this mean that at one time you had aspirations of being a music teacher, or were you always interested in pure performance?

Congratulations!
Mazel Tov, bwaysinger!
so, my dearest, who was the first celeb (or character) you remember having a crush on?
What was the hardest thing you ever had to do?
BWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GREATEST!!! You always create awesome chats, even though they are shortlived. YOU ARE HOTT!
Boobs, you mean "WHO is the hardest thing...."
Thanks for popping in, Kringas!
Singingwendy, I was actually an English major in undergrad. I mentioned before how I sort of fell into performing at the age of 20. The basic gist is that I knew I needed some formal training of some kind before I tried to fly to New York and attempt to make it.
I considered various options but decided on a musical theatre program and I have no regrets. The teaching thing is actually something new I am considering and I'm waffling back and forth between returning for my secondary education to teach in high school or just applying for college jobs. My original goal was performance only.

bway - your grandfather reminiscence was wonderful - thank you for that.
bway... congratulations! Walter Bondi sends you his greetings too!
Of course I am busy today so won't be popping in as much... SO...
If you were a structure, any structure in the world, what structure would you be and why?
If you could have ANYONE over for dinner, who would it be, and what would you serve them?
What was your favorite television show as a child?
Who was your first best friend?
Congratulations! I do have one question.
Your hair is so great. Do you go to Robbie Contreras at Federico Salon by any chance? If you mention the "Corner" you will get a discount!
Jeez, Sueleen....just how much time ARE you spending at the Corner these days? And is there any truth to the rumors that you and Sammy are an item?
Sorry, B'way... but inquiring minds want to know...
Flitty, I don't even know if Sammy has a penis.
Iflit totally just jacked my thread. How rude. But, then again, you are incredibly cliquish.
Bso, thanks for stopping by! You’ll be the official straight hag on my celebrity thread today. J
Dre2387: what a nice compliment! Thank you so much.
Katy: I am not sure who it was exactly.
Ok, I think I do. It was Flyin’ Brian Pillman, a professional wrestler (who later died of a drug overdose).
My first real “crush” though was much younger. I was absolutely captivated by Marie Osmond as a child and would watch Donnie and Marie religiously.
Boobs, the hardest thing I ever had to do: probably figure out how to get out of my Podunk town and to NYC. I did that by going to grad school in California. Who knew moving all the way west could get you all the east?
DD, glad you popped by!
If you were a structure, any structure in the world, what structure would you be and why?
I’d probably be an oak tree. Strong, firm, everlasting. J
If you could have ANYONE over for dinner, who would it be, and what would you serve them?
Oh, my god, I’m so beating a dead horse, aren’t I, if I say Tobey and Jared again? So I won’t. While I love food, I’m not really particular, so any food will do. However, I’d love to have Bill and Hilary Clinton over, honestly. The food would definitely be a nice, traditional southern meal to make us all happy. I’d probably spice it up a bit and do a good, tasty etouffe – crawfish, of course.
What was your favorite television show as a child? Gummi Bears. NO question.
Who was your first best friend? My first best friend…this is harder to answer because I kind of had two simultaneously: Jason and Nicki, both in my pre-k class. Jason and I played Dukes of Hazzard (he was Bo, I was Luke and we were literally yin and yang: two curly-haired kids running around – he was a blond, though). Nicki went to school and church with me, then, at age 6, my parents bought a place and it turned out to be next door to her! So we grew up together. So she was my REAL best friend nearly through college.
Sueleen, I do not. J But thanks for the compliment. I do believe my last haircut was, as always, done on a budget by those brilliant masterminds at Supercuts.
M. Butterfly moment?
Congrats, BwaySinger!
But if you mention the corner you might be able to get Robbie to do your hair on a Supercuts budget!
Wow. Does she pay you by the mention, Sueleen?
What is THAT supposed to mean, Buster? I am just trying to help a girl out and get you a nice haircut and perhaps a date! Robbie is a DOLL!
