Oops..i'm late!
HI!
HAPPY YOU DAY!
I'm raising a BIG pink drink in your honor.
I can play all day since i'm on vacation....
Haha if you can get the lyrics in its entire form I would totally do that too. I'd also do all the parts AND the different voices.
My question is...but what would be my encore?
can i get SOME profit from my work...?

Mamie - you're getting REALLY good at your tributes!
Bway- If you were president, who would be your VP, Chief of Staff, Press Secretary, and Counsel? Who would be the first celebrities you invited to the White House for a dinner?
I'm lovin' bway's answers. BRAVO !!!
Addy, you’re invited, natch!
Princeton, thank you! I’ll take a cosmo, please.
Sword, the answer is, “I’m a Little Teapot.” Seriously, if I ever do a cabaret, that’s my encore.
Zeppy: no. I’m selfish.
Mamie, that dancing pug is to die for. Thank you! I have saved it. J
I still remember my earliest memory: I was lying on the bed and my mom was changing my diaper (so I was pretty young. Ok. I was 7.). The phone rang and she stood up and turned around to answer it and I remember her having about a minute conversation before hanging up and turning back to me. She had a gold bedspread which she didn’t keep much longer but pictures of the bed confirm the memory for me.
A Cookie from Cookie!
Katy, let’s see, I’ll staff it with BWWers:
MY VP would be Popcultureboy, natch.
My chief of Staff would be that nasty liberal Republican, Papalovesmambo.
My Press Secretary would definitely be PalJoey.
Oh, and I’d like everyone to know that, without a doubt, my White House chef would be Kissmycookie. Nyadgal would be the White House Social Planner.
You can see the emphasis in my administration would be more parties, more food.
The first celebrities for whom Cookie would cook would be Tobey Maguire and Jared Padalecki. A private dinner, of course.

bway - what do you look/are you looking for in a partner?
"Why walk when you can dance? Why talk when you can sing?"
I think I need to needlepoint that for you, Bway.
So do I have to devise a menu for you, bway?
Colleen, I'm looking for a very big
wallet.
Just kidding. I'm currently seeing someone and I quite like him. I always tend to go for the slightly geeky ones and this one's a comic book artist and graphic designer. So, I tend to go for talent and intelligence well before looks. I don't have a six pack so I certainly don't expect my boyfriend to have one, either. Unless it's Stella.
Would you settle for a four pack, bway?

If you could read three people's minds for the rest of your life, who would they be and why?
That's...the weirdest question I've ever been asked.
I'd want to read the Pope's mind. I think the reason might be obvious, if only to see if it's a case of "do as I say, not as I do." If I have a child, I'd want to read his/her mind. so I'll always know if he's lying or trying to pull a fast one on me and I can stop worrying about his safety.
The third one would be Martha Stewart. I want to know if she REALLY comes up with all those ideas.
YES! YES! YES!! Congrats to bway...who graciously graduated to Boymaster when I became the coffee boy, who makes me laugh, who makes me blush, and who can bring light to my day even when he's looking for the light himself. Friend and confidante... and very deserving of recognition today!! Love ya, bro!
If you could be a fly on a wall..who's room would you want to be in and why?
Pip. You had me at Yes. Love you back!
Boobs, the answer is Tobey Maguire. Or Jared Padalecki. I think the answer is, sadly, all too obvious.
I should come with a disclaimer on a day like this: all of you people throwing up these hypothetical questions should know that, given the opportunity, I'll rarely use my powers for good.
Congratulations, bwaysinger!
What's your limit on # of Hurricanes at Pat. O.'s??
A perfect foil for 'one too many' is a burger cooked on a hubcap at The Clover Grill! Agree?
I've never been to the Clover Grill, Jungle, but now I will mark it down!
My hurricane limit is two, although one is sufficient to give bwaysinger a fabulous night. As mentioned before, liquor and I have a love/hate relationship.
Congratulations, handsome boy, on this celebrity of yours!!
What's your favorite drink, Bway?
And your favorite dessert?
finally, DG:
What five people with public voices do you think are worth listening to, and why?
1. Jon Stewart. A comedian with a very-well-recognized platform for getting his voice out. I think the Daily Show is the perfect foil to the tomfoolery of our current administration and I tune in daily. At worst, I DVR the show and catch up on the weekends but I never miss it.
2. Scott Mclellan. His role as Press Secretary, speaking on behalf of the White House makes him, for better or for worse (usually worse for him), THE mouthpiece of this Administration and I won’t pass up a chance to hear what he says. I also love to countdown to how long it takes for a question pop up to make him look so uncomfortable with his “official” answer that he looks as if he’s about to cry.
3. Ann Coulter. She gives voice to THE wackiest ideas of the right out there and, while I disagree with her 100% on every vile thing she spews, I find myself constantly looking for her latest website post or television appearance. Know thy enemy…
4. Maureen Dowd. She’s not as far left as Ann is right, but I definitely sort of see them as opposite ends of the spectrum. So, for me, I look to her for balance after I read some tripe from Ann. Plus, I think she’s smart and it sort of makes me feel straight again when I read her.
5. I’m completely gone here. I wish, however, I could say my grandfather (my mother’s dad) who is now deceased many years running. Being one of the oldest grandchildren, my grandfather always took an interest in me (and my brother, his very first grandchild) and we were privy to a lot of time with him my other cousins (of which there are literally dozens) did not. And he was a man who had done a lot. And lived a lot. He definitely found education from the school of life and I think back to the things he would tell us (stories of World War II and the like) and be in amazement at his continued outlook on life. So I wish he were still alive so I could talk to him some more now that I am an adult with a slightly better worldview.
Shira, thanks!
OMG, I need Idina to help me keep up with these posts!
Yes, Addy, you DO need to needlepoint that for me since I lost my last NPd pillow.
Cookie, please devise a menu.
Addy, my favorite drink in general is coffee. Can't live without it (on cup four right now!). If we're talking alcoholic, it's definitely the margarita.
My favorite dessert is a little tougher. I'm going to go with a "traditional" after-meal dessert and say tiramisu.
