Total agreement about AIDS in Africa. I've been fortunate that my parents have been mostly healthy while I've been old enough to be aware (my dad had polio when he was a child), but just thinking about my mother's mortality is enough to almost get me choked up.

Here is another one.
Given the past to change just one thing in your past, what would it be?
Good answers, Elphaba!
That ends my questionnaire portion of today!
Elphaba,
I just wanted to give you one last shout out.
Hoorah!
You have long been on my list of favorite posters. I hope things are getting back to normal for you and that, maybe, the thoughts being sent to you by the people here made things just a tiny bit easier.
elphie is my favorite library resource person
Well, it seems our celebrity is gone for the night, and I know that the next MBCotD needs to be annouced by 7:00 PST.

Mominator:
There are two categories for cookies, of course. Bakery ones-my favorites are those huge sandwich type ones with two large finger-shaped cookies with either chocolate or raspberry in the center, then covered on one end with sprinkles or chocolate. the other category-commercial cookies-lately I've been eating the Pepperidge Farm double chocolate Milanos non-stop.
Hero as a child-Bela Lugosi. Carried his picture in my wallet right next to Fabian's.
Favorite book as a child-I read all those Bobbsey Twins books and loved them.
Way to spend a rainy Saturday. Well, these days I work all day and night Saturdays, so let's just say that on a day off, if it rains, well, what do you think? Eating and watching a film!

Happy day to a fellow garden lover!
For whenever you get a chance - what five public voices - either living or dead, as long as their voice or work reaches the public - do you think are worth listening to, and why?
Also, do you have art on your walls, and what kind do you prefer?
YEA !!! I'm so excited that Janey....my favotite Fatty Fat Fat is the CotD...now darling here is your Tiara...make us proud.
Congrats, Jane!
DG-I was afraid you were going to ask that hard one! I'm going to get back to yours later. The art one ties into the other one, so I'll post both answers together. thanks so much for that AV-he also figures into my answer later!
Boobs-Give me that tiara immediately! It will look great with my work outfit, and I'll get lots of attention for sure! xoxox

Have a fabulous day, Janey!!!
In your honor, I'm changing my avatar for today. (Don't worry, DG, I'm not plagiarizing. Tomorrow, I go back to Jeanne Moreau.)
Remember the wise words of a very learned person: "Don't let anyone convince you to be in their movie unless they're paying you."
Oh, Jane, there's one more thing: You're NOT fat!
XXxooooooo
Miss Pennywise
P.S. Since you thought Jennifer Alba looked the best at the Oscars, I picked out this cover just for you.
