I will be off to bed shortly. I have narrowed down the field of my successor to 3 possibilities.
First of all, many thanks to Day Dreamer for this wonderful honor. He was also the first person I met from this board and it was like meeting an old friend. As with him, I've enjoyed getting to meet many of you as well, either in person, or on this board. Again, thanks to all for your well wishes and your wonderful thought provoking questions. It was a pleasure sharing some insight with all of you.
Addy, regarding Paris, I have something wonderful I'd like to share with you when we meet again.

After much thought I had narrowed the candidates down to 3. These 3 have definitely added to my enjoyment on the board, but there's definitely more that I'd like to learn about this person. Well, THAT'S a very fine 'how-do-you-do' to wake up to . . . you stole my own pick, Dottie! Of course, that was going to have to wait for me to HAVE a pick, so it's much better that we celebrate Mamie right now!
Mamie is the best kept secret on BWW, in my opinion. And it's only a secret because she doesn't throw herself around here with abandon. She addresses what there is to be addressed, and leaves it at that. Well, there is that Jbara thread, but everyone's got to have SOMEWHERE to let their hair down!
She's warm, wise and kind - and yet capable of that kind of honesty that only comes from having been there before and found out for herself.
There'll be more to say throughout the day I'm sure, so I'll just start off with a full-throated BRAVA and standing 'O' and go from there!
