My choice for MBCotD is one of the kindest, wittiest, most intelligent and honorable posters here. I have learned from her, and been shown what it really means to ‘live life according to the dictates of one’s own conscience.’

Beyond the campy façade of the lady we love to tease lies a graciousness and beauty of spirit that is actually quite breathtaking in its radiance. She has touched my heart (as well as my funny bone!) and my sincere hope is that others get to share in her specialness today.

So, my choice is Beacon1.

CONGRATULATIONS to beacon, who was one of my first posting-pals on BWW when we began the journey of the Adult Smoking thread and spent countless hours taking that incredible walk down memory lane.

I remember thinking "I've found my peeps", and beacon and I shared many special moments in those early days!

She is a beautiful individual who is deeply caring and has been there for me during some difficult times with thoughts and prayers.

I love her sense of fun and humor and can't wait for her New York adventure to FINALLY give her that hug in real life!

But, in the meantime, I am throwing the confetti and pouring a big cup of hot chocolate and toasting to the beautiful beacon!

OMIGOSH, DG. I never in 80 Bazillion years thought I would be a CotD. Stalker of the Day, yes, but Celebrity?

I am so touched...and I am actually quite speechless right now...I've got dash out but I'll be back.

Thank you everyone for the kind remarks. I feel so NOT deserving of this title given who are in the ranks of my predecessors.

*ponders for a moment* Craig--have you notified Mister Wilson of all of this? I'm sure he will ask for a recount.

CONGRATULATIONS, Beacon1! And thanks to DG for making such an excellent choice! Beacs is another long-time member I've only gotten to know over the last few weeks, and our talks are always a pleasure. She also dutifully kept bumping my thread last weekend, and I wish I could do the same if I wasn't off the boards today - glad I saw this in time.
