What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
Not sky diving. Not being Donald Trump's apprentice. Maybe walking into a room full of strangers, and seeing them, deep down, strong, together people, and not {too easily) the opposite. Not wanting to compete with them on some level. Being so comfortable with myself, that I didn't waste valuable time on earth judging others.
And finally, tell us something that you think we’d be surprised to know about you?
That I care about every single post that responds to one of mine. Honestly. And sometimes wish I didn't care.
In response, Miss Pennywise wrote (a little teary)--
Lovely, truly.
Thank you.

I have always held Auggie27 close to my heart, his words have an emotional honesty about them that usually border on the poetic, I'm reminded of how people can touch each other with simple discourse each and every time I read him. Oh, and he makes me laugh too!
Bravo Auggie!
See what happens when I'm off the boards for a day?
I miss Auggie - probably the nicest, sanest and most even-tempered of everyone here. And someone who can calm the most heated discussion with a post filled with clarity and reason.
Sorry I'm late to the celebration, kiddo.
Comes the dawn... Master, so great to have you tune in. I must apologize for failing to mention you in my preamble ramble, when I traced my limited history here. You were one of the first, and most welcoming. In other words, as far as this board goes, Honey, we go back. Eddie, ditto.
As for Stanley's hirsute body parts, call me quirky (many have): I like the part with no hair: the gleaming head.
But as Chita sang so eloquently,
"...stick to your own kind!"
Wait, I hope I am not too late, but you are one of my favorites and so happy you were chosen.
And Auggie...NOT only do I narrowly almost miss being among your special day greeters...I almost miss the Stanley discussion!!
My selection: buns. pits. chest. It's what's for dinner.
A great eleventh hour gift, Master. Stanley in the Clair de Lune.
Congrats to Auggie, while I can still slip congrats into the thread.
Auggie – I must have missed you by a few minutes last night, but thanks for the great answers.
I’m sure you don’t know or remember this, but you were my first bww crush. I told you that I was falling for you after I read one of your political posts, way back when.
Hope you had a great day and I wish you many more!
Add me to Shameless's post.
Kudos to one of the rare ones.
One more from me, too. Auggie was my first friend here, and he remains special to this day. He is one of the blessings of BWW...both personally and for the board in general.
Thank you for putting so much thought into your answers, Aug...but I would have expected nothing less.

Anyone who adores the Tooch, can't be half bad.
Big Night makes me weak in the knees.
Thanks for a wonderful day of insight and sharing Auggie!
Thanks, all. One final request: I keep tryin' to upload Master's pic of Stan into my profile. I keep gettin' a red X, despite the fact that I clic on ".jp" or whatever. What am I doin' wrong? I'd like to keep Tucci alive a few days...
It's jpg, dear. I know it isn't easy to type when ones hand is trembling under the influence of such bald Sicilian hotness.
Pardon the brief threadjack, but Master, it is awfully nice to feel your presence again. You've been missed!
And now, back to our regularly scheduled Auggiefest...
Popping in again to say thanks to Auggie for being one of the easier-to-appreciate posters on BWW.
And I'm not so easy to please.
master, it is awfully nice to feel your presence again.
flitty, my goodness. there goes that good girl rep.

papa - the woman was at Woodstock, for goodness sake - I'm not sure the 'good girl' rep ever actually got off the ground
And lord knows it's not easy for me to get a bad rep... Try as I might...
I can't rest on those laurels forever, DG... sad truth is, I just don't look "dangerous" anymore. When they do the bag and body search at concerts, they just wave me on through...
eep. 9:46!
I just wanted to pop in again and congratulate you, Auggie! We don't interact very much, but I've always wanted to properly thank you for having such engaging discussions with me about Brokeback Mountain.
I've been so distracted by trying to display Tucci, you should excuse the 'spression, I've forgotten to do my duty. Even though the choice is easy, and a terrific one, all will agree..
Hang on, it's about to be revealed.
