"Do you have any regrets in life?"
Answer carefully. Very, very carefully.
jane, i regret not being more disciplined about writing in college.
thanks, mamie. i love animals of all kinds. preferably over an open flame. i kid, i kid. sorta. i don't prefer one over the other as far as pets go.
somms, you nasty, nasty person. i guess we can stop the pretending now. i was just using you to get to your ex's with whom i've collaborated on a new tell-all entitled, "when moist is not enough." i don't know when or if vish will ever emerge from her self imposed exile. although i keeep hearing tales of satisfied european men dispatched with parker-esque quips.
and i love you too, erik.

I believe Vish is in a foreign land where -- thank god! -- music is fun again! I hear wherever she goes she's trailed by a minor domo, a dwarfish delusional bald man. But that's just what I hear.
Here's a question: Papa, have you ever been to Magnolia Bakery? If so, what's your favorite cupcake there?
Papa--this is a nice question.
It has often been said that "A liberal is just a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet" or "A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged."
Tell us about the mugging that caused an otherwise intelligent person like you to begin harboring such antediluvian and reactionary opinions as "The Republican Party is a party that stands for honesty and ethics" or "George Bush will go down in history as a great man" or "The Republican Party isn't REALLY anti-gay--that's just a lunatic fringe that exerts no influence whatsoever."
When did you first REALIZE you were Republican? What do you LIKE about the policies of the Bush administration and and the current platforms of the Republican party?

Awwwwww dayum. You dih-int have to ask that. If I could ask about cupcakes YOU could ask about gumdrops or some junk.
Code chartreuse.
oo.. how very cool! I think I'm new enough still that I haven't seen a "papalovesmambo" post, but, I think it's very foretelling that that I've been singing that song for two days and making folks around me smile ('cause I only know 40% of the tune)... I wonder if I saw and quietly liked a post and then had it subliminally (sic) implanted in my psyche :)
Happy Day of Yours!
Q: If you were a stuffed animal, what would you be stuffed with?
cookie,
porterhouse rare with rice pilaf and creamed spinach, babyback ribs with corn on the cob, pulled pork (seasoned with vineager sauce) with string beans, general tso's chicken (or dog or cat or rat, it's nyc after all), lots of lemon lime seltzer and dots.
kel,
when my brother took me to see animal house at age 8 and made me carry two of the four hidden 40 oz. that we snuck in.
Papa's ideal meal... Boobs, lots of boobs and girly parts..
cuz he's a dirty boy!
Congrats Papa..
Papa is Republican? The things you learn when someone becomes CotD.
Papa.....who was your favorite President?
Papa, when you said dots in your favorite meal, are those the gummy candy dots?
Cam's version of Papa's favorite meal sounds like mine.
I must say this about Papa, we disagree often, yet I really find him incredibly enjoyable.
I like the snark, and pull no punches attitude he brings.

Smart - it has been my experience that, while the opinions may differ, papa has an ENORMOUS capacity to view a situation objectively and acknowledge what reality is.
pj, it's nice to be nice to the nice, isn't it?
i became a republican after watching jimmy carter allow 52 americans to sit for 444 days under the thumb and at the whim of islamist radicals in iran.
i'm close to being a single issue voter in that my support for the current administration stems from iraq and the choice to go in and do what i felt was and is necessary to change the balance of power in the middle east and upset a status quo that brought its people nothing but violence and oppression.
now, i wonder whose opinions you've placed in quotation marks in your post since i've never said them. you know, quotation marks when used in reference to someone's opinion general imply that the person whose opinion you're discussing was the person you're quoting.
you're not trying imply that i've said things that i haven't, are you my dear and lifelong friend, pj?
Papa is very transparent in that respect.. But I must give him props.. I do enjoy his presence on the board..
Perhaps I should find an avatar in honor of his day/weekend.. Oo since it's a long weekend does he reign until Tuesday?

Papa's posts are always interesting! Congrats, Papa on your special weekend!
fido, money.
namo, never been. i was saving it for a time when you were sober enough to enjoy it.
boobs, you mean other than dubya?
jane, indeed, the gummy candy.
cam, yer a tramp and i love that about you.
"cam, yer a tramp and i love that about you."
wow that is like one of the highest compliments coming from you.. Should I kneel before you?? **giggle**
Perhaps not!
To all my fellow former celebs, we better save our sections now. Once these two get started there is no stopping them.
Which is also a good thing.
What exactly are you implying Pengers?? I'm a good girl..
Well, papa and I may disagree on many political issues, but we have been known to actually agree now and again.
Papa - knowing what you know now, who would you have preferred to win in 2000, Bush or Gore.
And, if there was one thing you could change about how the war with Iraq could have been managed, what would it be?
I must get this back on topic:
Papa, what makes you most excited to be alive?
(cam, you are good > but I wouldn't call you good.)
My quotes were simply "air quotes."
What's your opinion of the use of "wedge issues" by the Republican administration and Congressional leaders, specifically the scapegoating of your gay and lesbian friends in order to shore up the support of Christian conservatives, as the Republicans have announced they will do again this June--just in time for gay pride month and run-up to the fall election season?
Congratulations and Merry Mambomas!
You frighten me. I am not easily frightened, but you do it and it is a good thing.
I have a few questions for you.
When is the last time you felt an Angel on your shoulder? What did he/she look like?
What is your favorite feature on Corine Corner and how many times a week do you visit?
If you had Jill Clayburg, Amanda Peet, Patrick Wilson and Tony Roberts available for a Broadway Play, what play would you choose to produce?
If you were a Cabaret act what would you be called and what songs would we hear?
Thank you in advance for your answers. I kneel before you...IN MY WET DREAMS!
