Met No Hitter

8,020 games later it finally happened. Words cannot describe except I do not know a single Met fan who thought this would ever happen. Glad it was Johan and an excellent game for Josh Thole to come off the disabled list to catch.

Met No Hitter

As a long suffering Mets fan this was a joy to watch. I was just afraid of Yadier Molina showing up and ruining things like he did in 2006.

Met No Hitter

As a Met fan, I expect MLB to review the video from the game and retroactively award a hit on that blown call by the 3rd base ump (ball was CLEARLY right on the foul line). It took the Mets 50 years to catch a break from an ump!

Met No Hitter

Gary Carter was looking down on Thole and the entire team.
Also, Queens native, Mike Baxter was the real hero of the game.
After, seriously discussing the"bad call" on another board, it very well might have been a FOUL and the correct call was made. (after ball hit dirt, the outer portion make the chalk dust...that's a foul)

Mr Roxy has been such a die hard Mets supporter, never uttered a bad word about them, surely this is much his victory as the team's.
