Anyone going to be taking in this production of Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel" at their local movie theater?

Posted: 1/1/08 at 12:18pmI looked at the future schedule for the Met live broadcasts and I can't go to ANY of them except La Boheme in April. But it's all the way in April. I reserved tickets already though haha

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

Posted: 1/1/08 at 5:43pmThe price isn't actually all that bad when you consider that the cheapest seats at the Met--which are $15 on weekdays and $42 on weekends--are in the Family Circle, five levels above the orchestra, whereas $22 for the transmission practically puts you on the stage.
