oh. my. god. If the this article is true then I am officially HATING everything about this questionable remake.
I have given it a lot of lee-way (back story? possibly different music?) but this truly crosses the line.

Hopefully, it's just a rumor. But, until it is . . . don't worry about it. Actually, if you think about it, if the original HALLOWEEN movie was released today, it probably would be a PG-13 rating.

I'm seeing a screening of this tomorrow night and am really excited! I consider the original to be the best horror film ever made so I'm extremely interested to see what Zombie does with it.

Cannot wait for this movie. I think Zombie has unbelievable potential as a filmmaker, and now taking on one of my all-time favorite movies? I'm there.

See, I'm just NOT a fan of his. I just haven't really been impressed with him so far. So when I heard that it was him who was doing this remake (which is completely unnecessary to begin with if you ask me since the original still holds up beautifully) I rolled my eyes and just prayed for the best. However after all that I've read and seen so far it actually looks pretty decent. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, though...

I don't think it should be remade either, but since they are, I'm glad Zombie is doing it.
They're remaking so many classic horror flicks these days.
Most of them suck though. Although I did really like the Dawn Of The Dead remake.
