I haven't had it done legally, no. And my mother used my first and last name when she was really pissed off. It probably would have been more effective with a middle name, but, you know, she only had herself to blame.

Mine is Faith.
My mother's first name was supposed to be Joylyn (with no middle name). The hospital screwed up, though, and "Joyce Lynn" appeared on her birth certificate! My grandparents never changed it, and they stuck with the name (though they, and later on, my father, affectionately called her Joylyn as a nickame). My dad never had a middle name and my parents never gave one to my sister (which pissed her off).
Tell her to go get her own, blue!
I have a middle name (Martin), which was given to me, and a Confirmation name (Alexander), which I chose. I have three sons, and the second 2 have the previous one's first name as their middle name - Christopher Andrew; Andrew Peter; Peter Gregory.

Rath, she did (sort of). When she married in '03, she legally took her maiden name as a middle name. But she felt slighted growing up!
Jane, I love you, but whenever I hear your first name I also hear "you ignorant slut!" in my head right afterwards (from SNL).
blue, I grew up in the era of monograms. Two initials didn't cut it. I was ALWAYS pissed off.

LOLOL!
My middle name is Haróldo (silent H, emphasis on second syllable, and don't forget to roll the R).
My older brother and my little brother have the same middle name (Ernesto). I guess when you have eleven children, by the time you get to the youngest, you're bound to forget, especially if they're more than a decade apart.
"Jane Jacobjinglehiemersmith Jane!"
I like it! and let's not forget Jane fat fatty fat Mc Fatterson .
My middle name is the least interesting part of my name--it's Marie, everyone has it. If I ever have a daughter (which I doubt) I would give her a semi-normal first name and then make her middle name something completely outrageous for fun, like Aqua or Band-Aid. Because I am a horrible person.

My middle name was the most interesting part of my name until I got married. For 22 years, I was Jessica Jones. It was only the Ida (my grandma's name) in the middle that kept it from being the most boring name in the world.
And, blueroses, my mom did a similar thing when she got married. Her first name was Jo and her middle name was Ann. But after she got married, she made her first name JoAnn and took her maiden name as her middle name.
JB2: Yes, let's! I was kind of half-kidding--if I ever have a daughter, I will probably make her middle name Dominica. That's what my mother wanted to name me, but my father wouldn't let her because he thought it was hideous. I used to think it was hideous, too, until my name cracked the Top 10 Most Common girls' names in America. Now I wish my name were Dominica.

My middle name is Faith too, blueroses!
I use my confirmation name as another middle name too, which is Ann, then I added Marie after that after my aunt Ann Marie. I threw Michelle in there a few years ago because my family and I love how Chrissy Michelle sounds.
So I'm technically Christine Faith Ann Marie Michelle Jacobs.
But y'all can just call me Chrissy*J, haha.
I got stuck with Ann- just plain Ann- not even an "e" on the end! My daughter's middle name is Marlene- that was my mom. I found out I was pregnant with my daughter a few months after my mother had died. I couldn't bring myself to call her my mother's name but it fit perfectly with her first name. My son's middle name is Phillip- named after my husband's best friend who died from complications of diabetes. And so it goes! mom
There's a tradition on both sides of my family to have more than one middle name.
My first middle name is my Aunt's first name (she's also my godmother). My second middle name is my maternal grandmother's maiden name.
My middle brother's first middle name is the Germanic form of my maternal grandfather's name (it's an Italian name, and the other side of my family is Austrian). His second middle name is a Germanic form of my father's middle name, which was also the first name of my father's mentor. His third middle name is my paternal grandmother's maiden name.
My youngest brother's first middle name is the name of my mother's paternal grandfather. His second middle name is my dad's middle name. His third middle name is my mother's maiden name.
Good God, ~~~~, is that a Gilbert and Sullivan song?
LOL!
She is the very middle of a modern maiden middle name.
Mine's "Miles."
It's an old family surname. Civil War generals, that sort of thing. Goes way back.
My brother's is my mother's maiden name.
