RE: You don't have to be in NYC to enjoy this terrific bill of performing talent.
Yeah, I know. The TiVo is set. But TV does not even begin to compare with seeing it live, which is why I wish I were there. Should be a great show!
Bette is fabulous.
Oh, there's beautiful Meryl.
Jose' are you there?

Well, it's all taped - so now all we have to do is find time to watch it!
Hi DG!
Hope yesterday was a blast.

It was purely delightful, all the way until we stopped by the Grove to see PROOF. The place was MOBBED - complete gridlock in the parking structure - and by the time we actually got to the theatre, it was sold out! Not that big a deal, though. Kind of fun to see all the people having such a great time - so we just headed home.
But after Cinderella and Addy, who could ask for anything more?!
When we got home, I clicked on the TV just to make sure the benefit was taping - and the little moment I saw looked WONDERFUL (I think it was Wynton playing some kind of slow bluesy number.) The sound was really good, so I'm hoping the whole show broadcast that well!)
Glad you had some Pink time. :)

OOPS! Sorry about the avatar change - I'm glad you liked the other, though! This is a statue that Robert gave me for our third anniversary - it's actually quite beautiful, which you can't tell from the picture, of course. It sits on a lovely banquette in our foyer next to a Tiffany table clock, which I keep permanently set at 12:03 - so they can dance past midnight forever
Excellent.
