I stopped watching religiously after the seasons stopped playing into one another.
I did tune in every now & again. My favorite modern season was Mystic Force.
I was three when Power Rangers came out, so as you can imagine, it was a big deal in my life. I had two cats named Kimberly and Trini. Kimberly is like 15 years old now!
Favorite Power Rangers fact: Everybody knows that all of the action footage was taken from another Asian show. What a lot of people don't know is that THE ORIGINAL YELLOW RANGER WAS A MAN! They decided to make it a girl in the American version, but that's why the Pink Ranger has a skirt and the Yellow Ranger doesn't. lol
I wondered why the yellow ranger didn't get a skirt! I always thought that was kinda mean.
I just always assumed it was because Trini was a lesbian.
Man, me and everyone in my class used to watch this show religiously when it came out. Eventually I just lost interest, and it was getting too ridiculous. I think I stopped watching when Lord Zedd built his own zord called Serpenterra or something, and he was trying to destroy the world with it.
Did anyone else go to see the live stage show?

Which was destroyed & buried on the moon. It was revived in the Forever Red 10 year reunion.
This brings back memories...
Yeah my first boyfriend had that in his basement. Then he moved to Ohio.... we were just six.
Amazon has very few of the toys left. I'm bummed.

People are selling Megazords on Amazon for over $300!!!
Did anyone else go to see the live stage show?
Yes I did!! The only part I remember was the finale when a gigantic Lord Zedd towered over the stage and everybody in the audience had to use these little mirrors (which they gave us at the entrance) to reflect the light on him and kill him. It was great!
I remember wanting the Command Center playset when it first came out. However, my mom was unable to find it. She told me that she would go and get it for me while I was at school that day, and I walked in all excited, only to find out that she couldn't find it.

THE STAGE SHOW IS ON YOUTUBE?
Forget sleep...
I wish I would have known the live show was made available on VHS when I was younger. I probably would have obsessed over it the same way I did with the Ninja Turtles live concert video with Sherrie Rene Scott.

Which turtle was Sherie?

^ She was April.
I kinda figured. I was just being an ass. :-P
But does anyone remember Mona Lisa? She was sometimes featured in the cartoon series as Raphael's girlfriend, and she was the female equivalent except she was a lizard.

I don't recall her like at all...
I remember in the one live-action TV show they had a female turtle named Venus de Milo. Apparently, the very mention of her name sends blood rushing to the heads of the old school TMNT fans.

are original MMPR toys big deals now? i have some original MMPR action figures still in their boxes because I thought this show would be like Star Wars... haha... or do I have to wait one more decade?

Well I would figure they are decreasing in value now with the re-release...

Are the rereleases the exact same molds and everything? Because that would be the only real way they would decrease the value significantly. If there's a collector out there who wants to buy the originals, you can still probably get a fair price for them.

I was reading into this and I believe that they might be bringing back some of the original toys that came out when the show first started to air. I read some Power Rangers fan blog that said that there were designs for toys that never got made that are now going to be made. And that they might be doing some updating with some of the older toys/play sets and reissuing them as new.
So, I don't really know 100 per cent. But, I guess we shall see.
