Mind posting a link winston, or are you talking out of your butt again?
Just caught this on ABC Family today and jumped up and down like a little fangirl. AMAZING! Talk about a retrospective day, I discovered TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II was on HBO on Demand, watched it, then channel-flipping found the original Power Rangers. I think I need to go buy some Fruit-Rollups and Flintstones Push-Ups and my childhood is complete!

I forgot about it! But I now have it set to tape all episodes!

So I youtubed the new episodes & their are changes. The opening has been drastically changed, it's been remastered, & (this one I hate) they added text to when they call the zords of what the rangers say & it looks bad.
I am also not a fan of the new title card.

I'm watching the remastered episodes on Youtube and Goldar & Zordon appear to have altered voices from their originals.

So I am in the process of watching the revamped version of Day Of The Dumpster (the premier episode of the show) and there are several things that I have noticed that I just don't like.
First off, I can take or leave the fact that they got someone else to do the voice of Goldar. Just not used to the new voice is all.
Secondly, I thought that Diseny brought back this show for both nostalgic reasons and that they thought that the kids today would like it. However, Power Rangers debuted in the 90's. Not the the 60s. I say this because during the fighting scenes, they added a good amount of words like "Kapow" "BAM" etc in the same style of the Adam West Batman show.
I also hate the cards that they are using for transitional shots. Just annoying.
And, the last thing is that I feel as if there need to be some continuity in the showing of the title card. Yes, they re did the title card and you can see it in the new opening credits. However, when the show comes back or goes to commercials, they show the original title card. I think that they should pick one.
I watched it this past Saturday (the one where Jason think's he doesn't need help) and can't wait for Tommy to join...swoon.

I just don't understand WHY they changed Goldar's voice. Was it too scary for today? Also, does Zordon sound any different to anyone else?

Zordon sounds the same to me.
I don't mind the changes...if anything it adds to the cheese!
Everyone else sounds the same. If my memory serves correctly, there were around three actress or so that voiced Rita during the course of the run of the show. But, I remembered it being not as big a change from one to the other.

Rita was always my favorite character. I never really noticed a change in her voice.
I guess it's just me about Zordan's voice.

Not that I care that much, but I went to variety.com and it turns out that Saban, who originally owned "Power Rangers," has bought the franchise back and will start airing new episodes sometime next year. Also, the library of 700 older "Power Rangers" segs will begin airing on cabler Nicktoons later this year.

Oh my god. Saban will make it good again!!!
I'm not going to pretend like the show was ever great, but the episodes with the original cast definitely had more charm than the ones from years later with other actors. It seems unlikely that they'll recapture that in the new episodes, but it could happen.
They should just bring back the original cast. It's not like any of them have had major careers since then.

Amy Jo Johnson, who played Kimberly, has no desire to come back. She's busy with a show that is currently airing in Canada called "Flashpoint" and on top of that she's a new mom. Jason David Frank is also persuing a career in Mixed Martial Arts.

I would love to see just a 2 parter the start off the new season with the original cast.
And Bandai has rejoined the team.

This remastered crap is awful. The original PR was badass especially with the lightening bolt opening and fire. This is crap.
Remember when the original merchandise came out, like comics and coloring books. It looks like that. Really bad comic book graphics.
I hope people know that Thuy Trang, Trini, passed away like in 2001 in car accident in CA

Every PR fan knows that Thuy passed away. The remastered really was terrible...
The remastering was completely unnecessary, but it's still fun to watch some of the original episodes. It's extremely nostalgic. Makes me feel kinda old though.
