What do you guys think of the surprise album that Miley dropped last night after her dragtastic VMA performance? It's insane but kind of enjoyable. For fans of the Flaming Lips and doing a lot of drugs.

I never noticed before but Miley definitely has a Marianne Faithfull quality to her voice. I think it's more prevalent in songs like "Fweaky."

If you think the album is hilarious, you don't get the album, nor do you get Miley. That's all I'm gonna say. Love this album though. Very diverse.

Maybe there's no other way for it to go? I mean, Bowie had to vanish for a decade just to build up some interest.
Maybe I was the fool to think Madonna was going to be the one to blaze a path, instead of fading out.

If only Madonna would fade out. Instead she's like that faulty fuse on the big firework you dropped money on to see what it does. The fuse keeps glowing and occasionally sputters to life for a moment leading up to the firework, but then just goes out completely, nothing happens, and there's not enough fuse left to relight it.

Did anyone go to her concert at Terminal 5? It was amazing as to be expected. There was a huge line outside because of the thorough security check so I totally missed Dan Deacon and she had to cut her set short. She still played for about 2 hours with some amazing costume changes. The crowd was very odd and a mix of people who were there to see Miley and people following the latest trend of going to a concert just to say you were there.
