So apparently the Milford Plaza Hotel is back open for business today...but be warned before jumping to make a reservation!
Apparently, the planned renovations that closed the hotel last December NEVER HAPPENED!
Instead of the renovation, the hotel was just sold to an investment group in a deal that closed two weeks ago. Apparently the deal includes renovations forthcoming, but my friend went in today and walked around and said it looks even worse in there - I'm assuming because the place has been in stasis for a year.
Maybe you'll luck out and get a room that was already in the midst of the renovation before they closed, but otherwise, I would be wary of staying there for a little while at least.
