Hmm..interesting. I thought she was married (which doesn't mean anything).
She got prettier every season in Sex and the City---in the very beginning she was painfully unattractive, but by the close I thought she had grown to be the most beautiful of the 4.

I've seen her several times in public with her boyfriend/fiance/husband over the years -- not that that means anything, but closeted stage actors don't often go to all the trouble of having a beard in the same way tv and movie people do (and yes I know Cynthia was on Sex in the City, but the guy I remember seeing her with was around before that). Then again, without naming names, there certainly are a few exceptions to that rule.

She says she has never regretted that relationship, but now feels that she is with the person she is meant to be with...another woman...from now on.

Miranda was never painfully unattractive. I always thought she was so pretty and now she has become beautiful. I don't understand why she would need so much attention to come out.
It isn't like she's the Governor of NJ

She had gotten married when she was rather young, had never actually had a relationship with a woman, and had never cheated on her husband. Somewhere along the 20 years of her marriage, she just figured out that she liked woman.
