Michelle Obama is not going on Obama's trips to Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, and Europe, it will be reported on Thursday.
She does not plan to deliver policy speeches during the presidential campaign.
Nor would she have a policy role in the Obama administration; she would be raising their daughters.
And she may or may not have a speaking role at the Democratic National Convention, the NEW YORK TIMES will reveal on Thursday, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE.
NEW YORK TIMES reporter Patrick 'The Biographer' Healy will be first out with the full details.

will she wear an apron and sing stand by your man?
So, she'll stay home and bake cookies?
Somebody has to paper train the puppy!

I don't remember Barbara Bush getting grief for doing the exact same thing (her children, ahem, don't seem to have benefited much).
Good for her. I'm somewhat concerned about what impact life in the White House would have on either the Obama lasses or McCain kids. I'm sure as hell wouldn't have wanted that much scrutiny in my life as a kid. Heck, I wouldn't welcome it now.

Her name is Michelle. Calling her "Mishy" is demeaning.
Why not just go al the way and call her "Aunt Jemima"?
"I don't remember Barbara Bush getting grief for doing the exact same thing."
Maybe if Mishy tossed on some fake pearls with shoulderpads and assumed a constipated Madonna state of repose she'd get some respect.

Because Aunt Jemima is not a shortened version of Michelle and Mishy is.
seriously. in what universe is mishy a racial slur equivalent to aunt jemima?
going to that race card early and often, huh? that's gonna play well in the general election.
Oops, wrong thread. I wonder how I managed to mix that up.

BO tells Glamour Magazine that Mishy was raised like Beaver Cleaver. So why wasn't she proud of America before she met BO?
"Everybody who knows Michelle knows how extraordinary she is. She's ironically the most quintessentially American woman I know. She grew up in a "Leave it to Beaver" family. She is the best mother I know. And our kids are a testimony to that, because she's really had to raise them, oftentimes without me being there. She's the most honest person I know, she's smart, she's funny, so yeah, it infuriates me. And I think that it is an example of the erosion of civility in our political culture that she's been subjected to these attacks, and my attitude is that the people who have attacked her in the ways that they have...if they've got a difference with me on policy, they should debate me. Not her."

1. What does the way you're raised have to with being proud of America? She could have been raised by wolfs for all that means.
2. You read Glamour Magazine?
Growing up during the second half of the last century as an African American was a more challenging experience than it would have been for most white Americans, even if you weren't raised in the ghetto. You can continue to penalize her for choosing her words poorly after they have been explained at length, but I can understand where she's coming from. America has a lot to be proud of right now.
Obama misused ironically.
Minus elite points there!
As long as we're discussing quotes, how about this one:
"I never truly loved my country until I was deprived of her company."
That is a quote of John McCain. Can we infer that he didn't truly love his country for the first thirty or so years of his life? If so, should he have to explain himself for that opinion?
Seriously. In what universe is "Mishy" a shortened version of "Michelle"?

John and Mishy were getting kind of itchy
Just to leave the folk music behind
Zol and Denny working for a penny
Trying to get a fish on the line
In a coffee house Sebastian sat
And after every number they passed the hat
McGuinn and McGuire just a getting higher in LA
You know where that's at
And no one's getting fat except Mama Cass
careful, pj, you're coming dangerously close to defending obama when it's been made adundantly clear to everyone here that you hate him, want to see him lose and would lik to break up his marriage with yer gay agenda-izing.

I always wondered who "Mitchy" was...
"Mishy" doesn't rhyme with "itchy."

"Mishy" isn't racist. it's just generally belittling. Like "Bammy". Like calling the current prez "Georgie" or "Bushie".
or dubya like i call him?
No. More like calling Karl Rove "turd blossom."
Well, more like ME calling Karl Rove "turd blossom."
It's all about context.
well anybody who thinks i'm stopping is crazier than cynthia mckinney.
