She must truly be exhausted for her grammar to slip like that.

Well, A Weekend In The Country can be exahusting.

We're off on our way,
What a beautiful day
For a weekend in the country,
How amusing,
How delightfully droll.
A weekend in the country,
While we're losing
Our control.
A weekend in the country,
How enchanting,
On the manicured lawns.
A weekend in the country,
With the panting
And the yawns.
With the crickets and the pheasants
And the orchards and the hay,
With the servants and the peasants,
We'll be laying our plans while we're playing croquet
For a weekend in the country,
So inactive
That one has to lie down.

Poor Miss Holly! She looks like Henry when we got home from the beach last night! (I mean except that she's a dog and he's a boy)

She must truly be exhausted for her grammar to slip like that.

Miss Holly was making a reference to Anita Loos's autobiography that was apparently lost on SOME people.

Most adorable dog. . .ever!

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

Let's just face it .... Miss Holly happens to be an outstandingly beautiful little lady!
I love dogs AND cats..... to think about it ... I just love all kinds of critters, they are
innocent and for the most part filled with love ( most of them anyway )

The more I see of human beings.... the MORE I love my animals !!!!! I don't recall who said that.. but I surely do love it.

Exhausted again. This time after a weekend at the doggie spa (aka, East Side Animal Hospital), and an afternoon at the groomer.

And yet she manages it with aplomb.

At our age, I consider having anything hard a good thing.

And I mean hers and my age, of course.

*ahem*
