LOL. But you made a good point. One of the BIGGEST argument is that gay marriage will tear down the sanctity of marriage. Ok......I am straight and I have realized that most marriages end in divorce. Where is the sactity there? The sanctity of marriage was lost years ago.

Missoui.....pleassssse.....where the men are men and the sheep go running honey.........It took years for women to have the right to vote......It takes time......"Fear" is the key word here.......I remember back in the eighties when alot of my Gay friends where dying of Aids............"Gay" was a bad word....Gay America have come along way.....but still have a long way to go......We all need to protest......Nobody protests anymore........Voting is very important in November.....

That's what I'm sayin', Dame. Something has to be done and fast. Marching on Washington didn't do anything. Protesting doesn't do anything. What else is there? Riots in the streets? Do we honestly need to change our image as prissy queens to violent thugs in order to get people to pay attention?

Thats part of a dilema. Alot of my friends and lots of posters on this board can tell you that there are days I am a prissy queen. It shouldn't matter. Like the song says.."I am what I am".

Are you kidding? Of course I'm not. Nevertheless, it still pisses me off. I do think that the GLBT community needs to come together and do something. Something big. I just don't know what.

No, Cats, I don't think that's the answer. And if you want an answer to what has worked before, read up on the Civil Rights Movement - and then locate some people willing to make some sacrifices.
