Now, Roxy, you know I have recently enjoyed several of your posts and praised them in the threads because I have always said I give credit where it's due. Reread the above sentence. A person making a racist statement is not ever going to call herself racist, if calling somebody racist is what you mean when you write "playing the race card."

The way you have structured your point reminds me of the person who wrote into Dear Abby wondering how come her mother was always right when she told her daughter she would find a misplaced item in "the last place you look."

You are reading the platform and coming to conclusions that are not only illogical but which you use to simply reinforce your own miconceptions. The idea that people who believe that an unborn baby is a human life that needs to be protected is somehow "anti-women" is utterly illogical. Does this mean 50% of the American people (including tens of millions of WOMEN) are "anti-women"??
This would be like me saying that becuase Democrats are for strict gun control they are pro-rape, since women can protect themselves from rapists with a gun. There is no logic in the leap from point A to point B.
However, this is what Democrats/liberals MUST do in order to support their ideology. They can't use the facts to support them because in many cases the facts don't back them up. So they are FORCED to portray Conservatives as "EVIL" (racists, anti-women, homophobes, against the poor) in order to justify their attacks. You can't injure or kill people because they are simply WRONG, you can only do that to people who are EVIL. Democrats must portray Republicans as evil while Republicans portray Democrats as simply being "wrong".
That is why it is ok for a union leader to warn that "there will be blood" in the fight for collective bargaining of government workers.
The Union Thugs in the video below are completely justified in tearing down the tent with Walker supporters in it because people who support Walker are EVIL. So when other people point out that there are people and elderly in the tent, it doesn't stop them. Painting Conservatives as EVIL is the only way the liberals can justify their boorish violent behavior.
