That slavic Alice is truly bizarre & quite obscure, too, borstalboy. I hardly know anyone who's seen it. I've always given credence to your posts, but my respect for you just shot up considerably.
I like Samuel Beckett's short, "Film", starring a very old Buster Keaton.

Weird movies.
The Day After Tomorrow. The special effects were amazing and it almost felt like I was there. A lot of people posted movies they think are weird, so is that what you meant by surreal movies?
Broadwaygirl22 - Uh, surreal means it has an intense irrationality or a dreamlike atmosphere or quality. So yes, that is what we meant. What did you think surreal means?

Most Ken Russell films, including Lair of the White Worm and Salome's Last Dance.

Repo Man (another college movie)
The Warriors
The Man Who Fell To Earth

Great choices, Margo. I haven't seen either Liquid Sky or Repo Man since their first run. I'll have to remedy that.
Did any of you see Rhinoceros Eyes??? It starred Michael Pitt and Gale Harold. Went to the Angelica to see it with a friend and we simply didn't know what to make of it. It may be the only time I've ever walked out of a movie.
Pi, and to a lesser extent, Mulholland Drive.
Requiem for a Dream
Elephant
Gerry
Almost every David Lynch film is surreal.
