Name the composer who wrote the scores to 2 pictures only to have them not used and the studio using 2 different ones ( only one being original) .
One score is was for a classic and the other for a bomb.
Hint: Both movies came from the same studio

It's so common for this to happen that almost every major film composer has at some point hat their work replaced.
I'll guess again: Alan Silvestri
He's had some major work tossed out, most notably the first Pirates of the Caribbean.

Party is in the pantheon of composers. Once you hear the opening of any of his scores you know it is him.

Okay; are these two movies the ONLY films he ever scored and both were not used? Did he/she write 20 or more scores and only these two were rejected? If dead, is it someone like the Gershwins or Irving Berlin who wrote forever, or John Williams who wrote for everybody?

Person is male and definitely did many more than 20 scores.These are the only 2 I know of that were rejected.
