Is it common in here? I'm almost certain I bagged someone. But I'm not going to rat. Why does that nonsense go on? I've been accused as a past incarnation, and see it happening all the time. Seems childish.

Some do it for fun. When an alt shows up for comedic purposes, (see: Angry Deer and Izzy's Baby,) it can be the stuff of legends.
When done for trolling purposes, it's pathetic.

No, it was more of a revelation like for example someone who has Dickens characters as names, but way more subtle, and less obvious.
